On the left (towpath side) it's just visitor moorings. On the right there are the pubs visitor moorings, and after that some long-term moorings.
What is the etiquette for being overtaken from behind on the canals. Does the lead boat move to the left or right?
It doesn't happen very often. It's usually best to pull over to the bank and let the other boat pass.
