Akshayambara - A Gamaka Performance

Recited by Chandrashekhar Kedlaya and interpreted by Dr Prabhakar Joshi, this performance of Gamaka (a style of singing) is based on the epic poetry "Kumaravyasa Bharata" by Kumaravya a mid-century Kannada poet.

Inthavella beda Nam janakke, haraku batte hakkondu kuniyod idre saaku... Kannada is such an old language and has so much of literature half of it we ourselves won't even understand, but our generation doesn't give a damn about it.. sad truth... Keep posting more videos of these intellectuals who are true scholars... Loved it..
