I agree. This is NOT a mullet. Mullets are short everywhere but behind the ears. To me this is pretty similar to "The Rachel" (heh. dating myself) which is also just another version of the Shag. I think they are just trying to get people's attention by using the generally hated term. :D
The name "wolf cut" is from south Korea and also doesn't really look like this. They're just trying to use popular buzzwords haha. Id look up "south Korea wolf cut" if you wanna know what the style actually looks like!
I think it would all be mostly good except for the bangs which need a little bit more attention, I have the revlon hair dryer brush and it makes styling bags super easy!!
Love Safiya! She and Tyler are so cute. She would never! Platform crocs, yes..edgy hair, no! She looked terrified and uncomfortable when Brad Mondo gave her a slightly more layered and lighter color bob than her usual.
A mullet has a drastic difference between the long and short hair. A shag has more subtle, gradual layers. The “wolf cut” is a type of shag. Although there are some very short layers they aren’t heavy and mostly in the front. Sometimes the crown also has short layers. The long hair on a mullet is usually relegated only to the bottom layer which is all one length.
@@joecourtful So? Properly done, makeup is made to enhance, not to cover up!!! I think that men believe that the "natural look" means, not wearing any makeup whatsoever!! Wrong!! Everyone trying to pull off the "natural look" usually is wearing at least a touch of some kind of makeup!!!
i love how it turned out on her! i have this haircut, and it’s definitely one of my favorite haircuts i’ve ever had. i do think it’s better suited for people with wavy to curly hair (sadly not me lol) but it just adds a ton of personality to your look without even trying
As a hairstylist with 20 years experience I just have to say that I am shocked that the stylist in this video would even consider using a razor on such thin, color-damaged hair. Razor cutting tends to cause serious splitting of the ends, and the way he sawed away at her hair...this poor woman is going to hate this haircut the first time she washes it and tries to style it herself. This is simply not a wash-and-go style, and putting such short layers into fine, frizzy hair is going to make the ends look limp and cotton-candyish.
I’m not even a hairstylist and I said the same thing! Not only that, but her hair instantly looks drier than before the cut, and it wont look too great when it starts growing out. Maybe she likes it, but a lot of women always “like” their haircuts when they first get them because of the placebo effect…later on as the mental high wears off, they realize how awful the cut looks lol
I trained as a stylist in 1977 this was the coupe savage, i think he slightly over razor cut it but thats my opinion, it looked good on her... She should dress with a vintage vibe..
I would like to see the after of this video. My hair type is thick natural 2b, and mullet. If the woman in the video has a thin natural straight hair, that is a disaster.
Love it. Just love it. I do think it's gonna be difficult for her to style it the same way at home. But she definitely gets a lot more character from a visual perspective if that makes sense
It looks great! People saying this will go out of style quickly or she will look back and regret it probably have had the same hair style for 20 years! This isn’t a mullet but a shag and looks great! And fun!
I went in for a look like this recently and they thinned out the length so much that I ended up getting it cut back into a pixie. I think they have to really understand how much weight you want on the bottom before they just start razoring everything.
Nr 1 thing should always be thoroughly made consultation about what should or should NOT happen. But when cutting shagg with scissors, then it's less likely to happen(than with razor) and you'll have more thickness towards the ends.
@@angelenergia2163 I love Stevie Nicks! But, I bet if you looked up top ten worst hairstyles in our times, a mullet would be one of those. In my opinion, it doesn’t flatter most people. To each their own though! 🙂

actually it looks she has a natural wavy/curly texture! wolf cuts/shags/layered haircuts are really good for that hair texture!!
It will be better with her natural texture

Right.
The way she repeats "I love it so much" kinda makes me feel like she didn't but she didn't want to break the stylist's heart

I feel like she genuinely loves this? She seemed true and genuine in her descriptions of her feelings.

Yes and the bangs were styled so weirdly
