    Hi there so happy! I went to a tag sale and got one sealed in the box a copper colored Harvest one for $12.00! Wanted 15.00 took12.00! Never opened! So worth the venture for me. ☺

      I will add I am pleased as punch with mine. I have been snipping herbs for myself and parents for couple of weeks and still going strong! A product that does what it says. I will confess I have an older model too from a tag sale with non leds. I thought I would experiment and fill the base with stones and soil and add salad greens. WOW like a mini garden. Both are doing great.

    Hi! Thanks for the vid! I got an Aerogarden for Christmas- set up the 2nd and I already have sprouting basil- I was so excited that I also found a used one that was much bigger than I thought (9 pods) so I ended up purchasing that one as well! I am excited to start my flowers for my garden in my Aerogarden this year!!

    We just set up our Aerogarden today. I did a lot of homework. I’m very excited. What a great activity to do with your daughter! Teaching her about fresh and clean eating at a young age. How long do the plants last? Have you ever had anything die? I don’t love all of the herbs they put in the starter kit & wanted to grow a few different things

      How long the plants live depends on the plant. My favorite one to do is lettuce. It lasts 3-4 months. I agree on the herbs! I dont use all of them in my cooking.

    I cleaned my aero garden yesterday as the roots were wild! However, I noticed a part floating in the water and can’t figure out where it goes! It’s about 1 1/4” tall, clear plastic, and appears to have a sealed coin-type battery

    Hi. Just bought one. But I want to move it to a different room. How do I move it without the days timer and plant food/water timers resetting to start all over when I plug it back in? Thanks. Watched 2 of your videos. Very good.

    Aerogardens are still expensive but there are now much cheaper models for under £50 ($60) which do exactly the same job. I'm getting one shortly and if it's successful, will get a second.

    Hi, Tnx for the video. I also have an older model that my parents gave me. I planted one tomato and one jalapeño but they are not producing. The pepper has flowers but they fall off and the tomato just grew up to the lights and then nothing. I feed as scheduled and change the water as well but I’m at a loss of what to do. Any ideas? Tnx, Tina

      @easyapartmentgardening6761 3 роки тому +4

      Hmm, for the tomato, have you lightly shaken the stems? That helps with pollination. I assume you should do the same for the jalapenos since they are a flowering plant.

    Hi, Just bought a used one in the UK but the pods are sooo expensive here as they are imports. I'm buying 3D printed inserts and the sponges from China, but if they were sensibly priced I would buy the genuine ones.

    Omg. I am listening to who I assume is your husband in the background, and I see you recording this video in a quiet voice so that you don’t disturb his lunch. He had NO regard for your project: this video. Him having his lunch RIGHT NOW is more important. I have a husband like that too. 😔

    Are tomatoes hard to grow? I am new to this.

    • @easyapartmentgardening6761
      @easyapartmentgardening6761 3 роки тому +2

      I would say tomatoes can be tricky! If you are growing tomatoes from seeds using the grow anything method, be sure to check and see what their max height is. I recently tried to grow Chadwick cherry tomatoes, but they got too tall! Found out they can grow up to 8 feet tall, way too big for an aerogarden classic or harvest model. I would also only choose a dwarf or cherry tomato variety so they don't get too heavy in the aerogarden.
      But if you purchase a tomato seed kit from aerogarden you shouldn't have any problems.
      Hope that makes sense!
