As a man I took having children extremely serious. I waited until my career was off and going. I had a plan for my kids and executed the plan. Now they're in college performing at the highest level. So having a 1 night stand baby was out of the question.

Imo, individuals are all about themselves and their immediate wants and desires. There’s no thinking about how and what you present to the world is perceived on a larger scale.

When a parent graduates against all odds, the response is wow their children must be proud.

We really have a major issue in the black community creating multiple children and not having a stable home. Also, although I respect when men women know what they want in a relationship, it is also an issue that we have these high expectations when we are not presenting the same type of environment. I think it’s absolutely ludicrous for someone to say they don’t want baby mama drama when them themselves have baby daddy drama no matter how minuscule. And yes, I am absolutely judging and evaluating our community! I am saying this as a black woman who has no children. I absolutely agree with the man that Kendra G use as an exemplar, why would any man want to deal with us? Why are we out there slinging struggle key and open our legs to anyone on one night stands without taking proper precaution? We are grown and we see what is happening within our community with all of these bastard children running around everywhere. We have got to do better and stop asking for what we cannot bring to the table. This is a lot of buffoonery

38 no kids. Would prefer to bring kids into this world in a stable 2 parent home. Like the person above stated. It’s not hard to love yourself and move respectfully in these streets. It starts with accountability and wanting more for yourself and life. There is much work to be done in our community but because of our history and the early device of the separation of families and degradation of human beings during slavery a lot of this foolishness is ingrained in our everyday life.

Lack of shaming got us to this point. As a black man raised by single mother who was nothing like this and now a father myself and have a daughter... I'm so ashamed of the average black single mother and woman bc majority I've seen are like this one ....and have the nerve to have damands and high standards.
