Although quite a few of his decisions this season has left me baffled, I think we need to stick with Ten Hag until he gets his full squad fit and available, we have missed the Butcher progressing the ball out from the back, we have missed luke Shaws overlapping runs, we have missed AWB at right back. The side hasn't been settled. ETH needs Time to sort it out.
I agree, bring the butcher Verane Shaw and AWB back into the team and pur back 5 will be solid, these players will start our season ince they are back. I dont think Erik is going anywhere, its the media trying to add pressure to Manchester and not just Erik. I believe Erik knows he's got afre players coming in January and more in the summer. Erik will be ok.
We've pretty much had a different back 4 every game this season, how can Onana and the midfield play consistently when they have no idea what the defence will do
Hes been lucky we have injuries, it's rhe only thing saving him from people actually realising he is clueless. Liverpool the year after they won the league were decimated with injuries, but still managed to finish top 4 because the manager changed the style of play. We ain't finishing anywhere near top 6

On a more serious point, it is starting to get a little bit worrying that he doesn’t appear to be able to influence the players mentally. You can argue the toss over whether he’s dealt with Sancho in the right way, but we’ve got two highly rated assets that he’s simply not getting the best of.

These guys never objectively review Rashford. They'll always approach the Rashford topic by tip toeing, saying some fluff for a few seconds, and then very quickly jumping onto the next player where they'll grill that other player for minutes on end

Most galling about the penalty decision is that the VAR official felt it was a clear and obvious error that needed revisiting. It would have been a different thing if the ref had given it. But he didn't.

We have been short around 10 players (most due to injury) for nearly the entire season. We should be able to play cohesive football, but just not at the levels as our first 11. I worry that we have been trying to make anything work while everyone is injured that we will have to relearn the actual playing style once we have a full squad
Defenders out: Shaw, Malacia, Martinez, AWB, (Reguillion and Varane just got back) (6; 4 starters)
Midfield: Mainoo, Amrabat arrived injured, Mount, Casemiro, (Amad and VDB were/are returning from long-term injury) (6; At least 1 starter)
Forwards: Hojlund arrived injured, Martial missed the pre-season tour through injury and the first few matches, Sancho fell out, Anthony with legal troubles, Mason loaned (5; probably 2 starters)
Mount has injured/out of form for nearly 2 years, hes got talent but its like the donny deal all over. We spent money on the wrong thing again. Think he was just the wrong purchase
That exactly what it’s like and the fact Ten Hag hasn’t been able to come in and get anything out of Donny either is very disappointing

Has Garnacho ever played well when starting? He’s great to bring on when chasing a goal, but he’s not ready to be a regular starter.
Rashford has had numerous chances. He is not that young 18 year old fresh faced kid anymore. He should step up. Even if he is not scoring he should still put in a performance as a senior pro, but that isn’t happening. We are a mess from ownership all the way down to the scouting with too many players who think they are better than they are. We are individuals and not a team.

ETH is a victim of a vicious cycle of mismanagement. There are a bunch of players who won't work the extra mile , throwing every other manager under the bus. They can't be moved due to poor transfer negotiation or they just want to enjoy their fat pay cheques without doing nothing
Amrabat was destined for a second yellow card. He has a hothead and has been getting yellow cards way too early in matches and it puts us at a risk of going down to 10 men when he does that. He needs to be smarter and adapt to the premier leagues Propensity of giving early yellow cards

There's a fair bit lost in translation when it comes to ETH's answers at times. He's saying right now, he doesn't have all the payers he needs to play Ajax style right now, particularly with injuries, and in the squad overall.
You guys should have done a bit more research on Blanc. He did a great job at Juventus, cutting players wages, reducing cost and getting them back to top.

As a neutral I'll offer an opinion that might upset some fans. ETH doesn't have the personality to be the boss of a club like Utd. The ancillary issues occurring behind the scenes only serve to make his job more difficult. He's not The Guy.

I love the channel and have been a fan of Jay's since the Red Mancunian podcast days. However, please tell Joe to be careful with his hands when he's on mic. He seems to touch the table in a way that creates an unending series of deep *thud thud thud* sounds whenever he speaks. It starts to bother you after a while if you listen while wearing headphones.
I really feel for Mount. And I don't think enough people talk about why he's struggling. He's struggling because he needs a system. Mount needs to know what's going on with his team and I don't think a single player on our team has a plan or knows this guy is gonna come to me and we can give go. Like there's no system. It's like eth has said these guys are great players and they'll figure it out. I whole heartedly believe that's why every player that comes to United struggles. Players play there whole career in teams with a game plan that everybody buys into and they know how to play together. United haven't played as a team in a decade. It's like their out there playing on talent alone with no game plan. And it's not just this team. It really makes you wonder if they do anything in training besides drills. They need full field tactic drills and learn teammates tendency's so you can help them in bad situations and benefit in good ones.

Ten Hag's decisions are getting odd, really odd. It's the dangerous stage of a managerial tenure, when it's pure stubbornness to prove authority or a point. Reminds me of Solksjær when he kept playing out of form players. Then he started throwing any old combination as a roll of the dice...It's looking like Ten Hag is running out of ideas now.

Bruno, Rashford, Antony and Eriksson benched play a young energetic midfield. Need to stick with the manager how many other of the top six could implement a style of play without the first team back 4 not to mention the rest of the injuries hes had to deal with
Its just so difficult to know what the issue is. ETH has got factors that back him up, all the defence being out (ownership etc). It's a major way we played last year but i think thats it. Everyone else is playing not just sub par but at their lowest possible levels. You either drop them or you're not coaching them. it's so frustrating, i dont want to sack another manager and i do think he would benefit from being given time but what's he done to merit all the support? we did ok last year, wasnt good either though. Finished 3rd in a season where liverpool and chelsea were dreadful, won a trophy with, lets be honest a very easy route to the final. ah just dont know, this feels lower than anything since SAF.
imo it's consequence partly aside from injuries...a fukll preseason meaning we have poiss sorta been overtrained in terms of the short term- it's whyu we cqant sustainn good play.
look at poch's results in his first half season at aeevery jpob bar maybe psg n then look at second half points total and especially how many points won late on cos they are SO MUCH FITTER
I don’t think we should regret the Casemiro deal yet. But we definitely should have walked away from the Antony deal when Ajax doubled the asking price and held out for a better price for Mount. Otherwise I think the other signings have been good…even if Amrabat looks shaky bordering on crap when the game is played quickly

It genuinely blows my mind anyone would want to keep rashford in this team at the moment, plus rashford loses the ball more than anyway when he just runs in to people. Maybe we could drop bruno but I don't think we've ever had a good game when Bruno isn't playing but ten hag has to try something.
Recruitment is the issue.
Garnacho will look erratic if he is used in fits and non- starts. Right now erratic is an improvement over another sulky England forward. Maybe we have the bench and the first team the wrong way around, as per the Palace cup game.
Garnancho is finished already, he's already more focused on his social media getting press to take pictures of him whilst out!

john murtough's transfer negotiations this and last season were average at best, compare this with what liverpool and spurs have bought this season (macallister, gravenberch, endo, maddison), it's night and day. every single one of man utd's transfers since he took over have been either the price of what the selling clubs have demanded or overpriced, this doesn't get mentioned in the media enough.
Nothings going to change wanted and couldn't get rid of mctominay and Maguire in the summer now their starting. We know both are not good enough.

No we've always been a 4-4-2 or 4-4-1 side this current formation confuses the players look not defending the players they really need to step up but the formation needs to change get us out of the diamond system

7:20 i get it the glazers are terrible but they don’t always have to be brought up. Just strictly on the pitch, ten hag is not getting the best of this group. Since he’s come in, the only club thats probably spent more is chelsea. His decision making/scouting has been poor. Everyone thought he was a boss when he snubbed his nose at Ragnick then went and spent 100 on antony. No he’s out of his depth. Its a mess from top to bottom but he’s definitely contributed to the mess.

Until the penalty Utd were in the game, threatening and breaking up City's play. The penalty changed the mode of the game. I think the changes in the second half doomed the game.
