It's kind of weird how Toy Story is pretty accurate as a film to make them seem like toys but didn't realise how difficult making Stretch as one singular piece would actually be. Edit: also, thanks for including the scenes! As someone who hasn't seen these films, it's great to see them side by side! (I was more a Small Soldiers film fan growing up instead of Toy Story - yes, I know one is animated and one is real people. Lol)

It's very tedious to paint 3 layers, but 110% worth it. The colour match was spot on 💙✨️ great job 👏 Are you able to show off the finished models for a little longer? All that hard work you did and the video doesn't let them shine for a while. I saw an earlier comment mentioning a before and after shot. I would love that too, even if its just a cut from the beginning of the video.
The freaking power rangers wall in the background is so cool!!! I refuse to believe this is anything short of magic even through I’m watching it in real time! He’s so freaking talented at these repaints
You should check out the unboxing helmets video he made and the 3d print rangers, they are my favourites 😍makes me extremely jealous of his collection 😂
I think Stretch is made of the same material as those stretchy hands, but they’re incredibly non-durable so idk how she doesn’t break all the time unless she’s totally new
Especially because she's gigantic-for that matter, they're all kind of weirdly-scaled save for maybe Sparks, probably so they didn't look tiny next to Lotso. Twitch especially looks like a He-Man or ThunderCats toy, which were barely half that size.
Yeah, she's pretty much an enormous version of the Wacky Wall-Walker. Something like that would pick up the lion's share of dust and hair in real life unless you cleaned it regularly, and even then it'd eventually lose its stickiness.

Great vid lotsos gang are some of the best, if you ever needed to whiten Mr Mike you should use acne paste and leave him out in the sun and repeat till he is no longer yellow.
I have some hydrogen peroxide that I bought to deyellow them, just haven't gotten the chance to. Maybe when I print Wheezy I'll have the chance to fix Mr Mike too
You could make your own mold and pour silicone, they sell lots of different types of silicones for mold pouring, bendy, extremely bendy, firm, extremely firm etc it depends. And from there you could just pour a bit of purple dye / glitter once u choose the silicone of your liking, seems extremely time consuming but that’s an option (:
I would assume she’s made of rubber in the film, like the stretchy sticky hand toys. But obviously, as a collectible figure, vinyl makes. alot more sense as it will last much longer
You forgot the dump truck Lotso sits in, which makes sense cuz it never talks, but it is part of Lotso’s crew as he trusts it enough to be present during the Prison Scene
I have a couple new ideas for you to make 1. The other half of Toy Story small fry characters 2. A Better duke caboom 3. The battlesaurs 4. The rest of the Toy Story of terror characters 5.the funny zoo animals 6. Partysarus Rex characters 7. A better snake and robot
Would it be possible to put an actual spark shooting mechanism inside sparks chest? That seemed like his whole gimmick in the movie so it’s weird thinkway replaced it with a lightbulb
@@zedabyu lots of toys since the 50’s had spark shooters, they’re basically the flint from a cigarette lighter but without anything to light. Newer versions contain the sparks inside a clear plastic cover, but older versions just shot them out in the open. It’s not as dangerous as it seems, but there’s definitely a reason we don’t see it used much anymore

most modern plastics are game to chemical yellowing. my 1950s Revox tape recorder formally of the Swiss Chaplin estate has clear knobs that went yellow (it even played a part in the 1992 biographical movie) its knobs were yellow but, the plastic was still clear Brother Sydney Chaplin and other family members and friends smoked like chimneys! yellowing all the plastic on the machine a quick dip in chlorine killed the yellow and turned the knobs into glass clear and the rest into pea green Charlie didn't smoke but he had no aversions to anyone that did and he let people smoke everywhere in the house in Switzerland charlie or Charles was a peoples person the more the better! and he was self-deprecating nothing but bad taste to get you through! the thing is the most emotionally damaging thing that happened after Charles's death he was stolen and buried in a field somewhere close to the cemetery. the thing is this goes inside of Chaplin's dark humor the story of the dumb corpse-nappers and their slapstick failure in the end would have made Charles laugh out loud!!! it was though traumatic to the family a fitting end of a lifelong clown!!! and I own his Revox tape recorder!!! so much history in that machine!!!
The material that she is made of is a stretchy rubbery plastic, I used to have tons of dollar store toys made of it as a kid. Hope this comment helps
