Dear VISHAL DADLANI, Sonu never said that the contestants lip sync. He said that only corrected singing performances are aired. Which means that if the contestants sing badly then they are made to sing again and again till they get it right and then it’s aired. Which is obviously an unfair practice
Umm, this is true. I've seen this myself when i sat in the audience once, and i was a bit surprised. If a contestant doesn't sing properly, they're allowed to sing again to get it right. But that's precisely why these shows are not aired live and i don't know if this is done for everyone or specific people they want to promote in the show.

J went to indian idol and saw many things. If you don't believe sonu go for auditions once. There you will find two secs - singers and another comedian. Reality is what sonu said
Though he is such a communal person.. But he is legend of music school.. Bahut kam sonu nigam jaise singer hue hain.. Real, sensible, reasonable singer.. One of the best judges in indian idol.. Ab us show me bhi wo bat nhi rhi

Mujhe Sonu Nigam ji ki baat bilkul sahi lagi. I think he is a true judge jo singer ko uska real result dete hai . Sonu Nigam ji ne jis bhi singer ko uski galtiya batai hai wo singer bahut aage badha hai.
Interestingly factual...finally someone brought out truth to public. I had watched many II shows and found the talents Lipsynching songs...many many times...and the comments were also commending and no one objected that the the contestants were fake. That shows how deep people have vested their knowledge about Sangeet. Very few people have some knowledge about identifying fake voices and pre.recorded sessions. I stopped watching those idol shows after just few disappointments. They are full of drama. Vishal Dadlani and few others are PAID CHAMCHAAS of the corporate investors. The purpose of these shows is lost due to these corrupt practices. I simply hate these shows and SHAME on them who support such practices.
In every singing show they sing "Mayi Teri Chunariya Lehrayi" and everyone starts crying. WTF!!
This is what actually happens when truly tremendous people like "Sonu Nigam Ji" bring out the truth. The actors manipulate people in such a way that they tend to be very much innocent whereas one of the greatest artist like "Sonu Nigam Ji" aren't given chances anymore. His dedication is such that he hasn't shoved the reality to his throat but has enlightened us with the reality. And I can bet on it that "Sonu Nigam Ji" is unbeatable at singing and this is what happens when you're too talented and gifted.

I don't think Sonu Nigam ji has said anything wrong, all this drama has been going on for some time now it has become a TRP game, it is a big loss for the music.
