Haolonggood Daspletosaurus Review!! Both Versions

- It’s always a great day when my favorite tyrannosaur species gets a new figure!! This is Haolonggood third attempt at a theropod and it’s their best yet!! Finally we have lips. Love the bulk and power these figures give off. This is how I picture Daspletosaurus. Both colors are well done. Colorful yet still natural looking. A fantastic addition to your #dinosaur collection.

If you look at its skull, you’ll notice it’s D. horneri, not D. torosus as HLG advertised it. D. horneri has big horns on top and behind the eyes, which the HLG has, whereas D. torosus has big lacrimals before the eyes. The PNSO is D. wilsoni as you say and Safari’s D. torosus

probably sizes better with Safari's Albertosaurus than Safari's Daspletosaurus (which is a fantastic figure itself)
am I the only one who doesn't like the scales and wrinkles on the head? I feel like they're overdone and look a bit disturbing
I prefer smaller scales, but still it doesn't bother me that much bc it could happen

The issue of this set is the eyes. Overall looks great, but the eyes make them look kind of dump
PNSO's Daspletosaurus still beats it out for me. The body sculpt is good and the colouring looks great but there's something about that head sculpt that looks cartoony and just throws me off, not to mention the several innacuracies (e.g. prognathism of the jaw, brow horns being behind the orbit, both digits being the same size). PNSO's offering just beats Haolonggood's out in scale detail, paint application, overall sculpting and just looks more like a real animal so I'm able to look past its slightly lankier proportions and the fact that it doesn't have lips.
Dude, are you serious? Even without taking into account that the pnso has no lips and that it cannot stand by itself for a long time without a stand, do you think it looks more like a real animal? No reconstruction has ever been similar to an excessively small body in the pelvic region of a pn, looking at the skeleton of a daspletosaurus, it is not possible that he was so thin, despite his low bone.
@@player21099Calm down, lol. It looks more natural. Lips still aren't a fact. The only downside is its flat belly. Colors, details and headsculpt look more natural on PNSOs' Daspleto..
And mine stands perfectly fine.

You're talking nonsense, I was not only talking about lips, but also about a more correct reconstruction, the price is 2 times cheaper and that the PNSO has a disabled person who does not stand without a crutch for a long time. And you say that the pnshny version is more like a real animal, only because of the texture. This is ridiculous.Well, try to leave it without delivery for a week and see what happens to it. Although usually pnso theropods fall off their feet after 1-2 days without a stand, despite the fact that they are 2 times more expensive.
