I will tell my MOZA ( and 3 of my friends) story before we went and just straight outright bought Simagic. All of us bought r12 mozas with cs v2p wheel bundle. And.... out of 4 people, 1 got a decent base, rest got some problems, from power problem after 20 minutes ( me ) to having weird ffb problems ( updating soft didn't help, we used couple settings from youtubers, didn't help too). Well we decided to give back those bases and since most said MOZA is solid, we thought "it just had to be a bad batch of stuff, lets order again from other shop". Well, this time only 1 person had problem with the base, BUT even the guy with 1st working base, we all had steering wheel problems. The upper buttons either got stuck OR didn't work at all. After all that shit and a month wasted we just decided to buy simagic. Everything, I mean, EVERYTHING works perfect, have no problems whatsoever and never looking back. Alpha Mini probably will give you better buck for the money than R12, but the wheels do cost a bit more. We opted for P1000 pedals and MANNNN WE ARE HAVING A BLAST. Everything is so damn good and enjoyable. Btw. If you don't have a cockpit yet don't worry too. The upgraded clamps from Simagic can hold the full 10nm no problem on the desk, as long your desk is sturdy enough there won't be any base movement. TLDR; MOZA has extreme QC issues ( and it seems in the last 3 months that's gotten an even bigger thing), on DC whenever somebody has problem with the base they will be treating you like it's your fault ( yes it was our fault... that we bought this shit). I guess the hype for it comes from the uprising company where somebody actually cared and made this stuff well.
That has to be just bad luck. Look, Simagic is amazing, but so is Moza. I know 4 people that got full moza gear (including me) without any issues from day 1. And in my experience (and my country), Moza is remarkably cheaper than Simagic.
today I have bought an used Moza R3 bundle, have not had the time to assemble and such, but already I can tell and feel like it will fullfill my needs - that is (switching from also a used thrustmaster t150) a general sim racing car category - imho the majority of people who are into sim racing are basically practicing or rather gaining experience to then IRL test out their daily or modified cars on real race tracks - I already know that I will most likely not move up from road sports cars, but then again.... maybe yes? I tthink Oscar that you too will one day get yourself a motion sim rig (or do you have it already? cannot remember, been watching far too many DayZ videos lately 😀) but from my experience of 3 years of now of driving lemon cars, just the wheel base itself will never suffice, I think that a combination of DD wheelbase, forcefeedback pedals, and a motion sim rig might cover the basic of what one is truly experiencing - regardless I love the fact that you have covered the whole catalogue of what Moza is offering as of now, and honestly you OC and also Goosiest is probably the only two content creators whose reviews and or feedback I take for granted 😊 (also I am subscribed to you for like one year? And I kind of wish you would ease one that reversed anticipation sound effect or what it is called, I think you overuse it)
@ i have been the only issue i’ve had is the squeaky brake pedal always squeaking iv tried everything and half a can of dry ptfe wd40 it just doesn’t fix it not really a massive problem it’s only a noise otherwise everything else has been fine
Buy from a local reseller, do NOT buy from their chinese website. Yes the prices there are usually low and buying directly from the maker is usually a good thing, alot of people have had credit card scams (especially when ordering from europe) and have had transactions in dofferent parts of the world being blocked by their bank. If moza updates their credit card service and maybe changes their packaging provider it should be safe to order but for now its literally not worth the risk of getting your card stolen.
I also think the R3 wheel base is perfect for a child/younger teenager's first wheel base as its not a crazy amount of power to start with and has flexibility to grow with them as everything with Moza is modular, to me this makes it better value than the lower end offering from Logitech or Thrustmaster.
Would’ve been nice if you spent more time on each part, such as the wheels, you glossed over them without discussing their diameters/what would a good type of car to use with (for example, the RS V2 is massive and isn’t ideal for GT cars)
Can i get a pin lol, if i get pinned i'll do a pushup for each like!
Hmm. Sure, actually. You better keep your promise though 🤝
@@OCRacing TYSM IVE NEVER BEEN PINNED, ILL POST PROOF ON MY CHANNEL AFTER IT GETS OVER 25!!!!!

Man i can’t believe how far you’ve come, I’ve been watching since 16k or something like that, and now with 100k+ and you have a face!
Wheres my boi saying “claim your early ticket here”

@@Trouble_F1 that's your goat? Lmao.
I’m a Fanatec guy but I love seeing all the options out there! Another great vid!
Appreciate you! Always good to see other options… I know because I spend hours every week watching car reviews I don’t need 😂
Haha classic! Keep up the good work!
Bro you influence me to buy my first mower racing steering wheel and it was 100% worth it thank you
Ayy glad to hear!

Not me getting a Fanatec advert in the middle of the video
😂
tnx bro! Moza the best! i love it!
My 8NM Fanatec performs great on the metal table clamp.
Pefect video should do one For Logitech & Fanatech also
I'll see what I can do 🤝
thanks king
You’re very welcome 😉

I would agree
They do need more xbox rims
3:00 is that a G920 wheel attached to an R9? That's impressive lol
oc racing video sound effects are like an episode of johnny test
😂
Hey can you do a video explaining brakes? Specifically what you recommend on low, med, and high end? across all brands
I’ll definitely keep this in mind! I’ve been wanting to for a while now
Question Oscar could you use the moza es formula wheel mod on the simagic gt neo x?
So can you
confirm that if a buy the xbox wheel i can use on a r9 for example and us it on an xbox?
Would’ve been nice if you spent more time on each part, such as the wheels, you glossed over them without discussing their diameters/what would a good type of car to use with (for example, the RS V2 is massive and isn’t ideal for GT cars)
That's quite a line up Moza have out there, majoring missing item is PS5 off the shelf compatibility, not with some third party dongle..
PS5 compatibility would be huge for them. From what I’ve heard it’s Sony who’s hard to work with though
When’s that $3,000 sim rig? Or whatever it costs
It’s coming eventually, currently it’s tax season and I have way more important things to worry about though 😭
@@OCRacing so you did actually buy it.
Nice
Nice
would u recommend t300rs or the r3 im upgrading from g29 i mainly drift and play traffic servers
At this point, I’d rather go r3
do you think moza will make a wheelbase for playstation?
Probably. Not anything that I currently know of though.
got a fanatec add for this vid
😂😂
Can you review the Trak Racer TR40S pleeeeeaase
Yes, soon 👀
Watching this as fanatec fanboy
Might have to make a fanatec guide soon 👀
@ hope you recommend the advanced paddle module because i just bought it
can you make a video on how to use this stuff, ive had an r12 and crp2 pedals for 5 days and cant get them configured on any games.
Are you on PC?
Me planning to buy an R3 next month 😭
Great entry level choice!
It's amazing, I just got mine today and it's plenty powerful.
Heads up the ball style quick release is an invention of works bell. Its sad how the knockoff brand gets the credit.
I'm currently can't decide which to choose, R12 or R16 😂
To be honest I’d just go R12. Unless you REALLY know you want the extra force which trust me, is a lot
how much did moza pay you for this? asking for a friend
Lmao I wish 🤣
