Possibly referencing how she used to do same for Silko.
Looks more like how they were putting the frame in and put a constant distance in computer so comp was. So come was trying to maintain that so you can see that distance is been 91. She moves her eye. He moves his needles so it’s just like a basic thing they must have put the constant in there while they were putting the making the frame in which they were making it.

@@wrench2022 You know what? I'm not mad about it! I'd rather have a short, but excellent series, than a drawn-out lesser one. And if they want to explore other art styles with the other regions, as long as the quality is there, I'm alright with that.
@@TheWalker10 tf? For a story that's supposed to be connected, the different art styles and story telling will transform everything into incoherent mess. And league's world has enough champs and stories to keep the series fresh for many seasons forward they don't have to confuse everything by mixing art styles and shows

It’s such a cool detail - for her to use the shimmer’s effects, to overpower them, she’d need to be high on adrenaline. Which means she’s completely calm here, which is insanely frightening and I love her very dearly

Shimmer affects are temporal, he she just burnt out Shimmer and can't Defend herself.
@@xCoatlicuex It's possible that singed might have done something during her operation that is permanent, or at least longer lasting than most shimmer. I'm not sure, this is just wild speculation on my part based on her eyes permanently changing to pink. There are some real world examples of one-time injections with life long or very long lasting effects, so it's at least not impossible. Singed is a genius chemist, so it would make sense lore-wise if he was the first person to synthesize permanent or long-lasting shimmer.
I also think @hoktril2442 made a good guess. It would be a nice subtle nod to how her passive (Get Excited!) works in LoL gameplay. (Gradually gaining attack speed and movement speed, up to a cap, with consecutive basic attacks. Or a sudden burst upon certain takedowns and kills.)

I really love how Jinx turns Silco’s death, a horrible trauma that left her the most miserable and defeated she’s ever felt, into a brag to try and scare off the gangsters.
Zaun is an environment where there’s so little tolerance of vulnerability of any kind that the only acceptable way for Jinx to mention her father’s death is by taking credit for it to seem more intimidating.
You might think of it as a brag, but remember, she's completely mad. From her point of view she's just answering the question and reliving the facts. The first event was heartfelt, the second was pain... and her voice changes mid sentence to reflect that.

I’m not denying Silco was an evil, evil man who influenced Jinx’s life mostly for the worse.
But he also took her in when she had nowhere else to go, constantly jeopardised his ambitions and plans to accomodate her, and spent his very last moments trying to make her sure his death wouldn’t be another burden on her…even when she was the one who got him killed.
The ultimate tragedy of Jinx and Silco’s relationship isn’t that Silco never cared about her and just saw her as a tool like every other evil father in fantasy does, it’s that Silco genuinely loved her with all his heart and still ending up ruining her life because he was too blinded by his own biases to realise how terrible all the lessons he was teaching her really were.
That’s why recognising you have abusive parents is so hard. It’s an utterly paradoxical experience to recognise a person that cares about you more than anything in the world can still end up hurting you so badly.
@@murdurmuffin7872no this is superficial if you think his death didn’t affect her. If that was the case she woulda chose the Powder seat. She honored him by choosing Jinx and finishing the weapon. She lived Silco.
Jinx the same person who staples wounds shut like it's the most normal thing in the world, Jinx who literally spends her time in a ruin hanging over a cliff throwing grenades like they're confetti. Yeah right, she'll definitely be scared of a needle.

i’m so glad Sevika, even tho she hates jinx, seems to be honoring silco and protecting her. Especially since the only reason Jinx was alive still is because Silco protected her. But now that’s he’s gone there’s gonna be people from the topside and undercity trying to kill her. At least in the beginning maybe before the revolution starts. (just my theory tho)
Thing is, Jinx still ruined there opportunity for Zaun's independence. She could've turned herself in after overhearing Silco, but she kidnapped and killed him instead. It's literally EXACTLY why Sevika was telling Silco to get rid of her. She knew that eventually Jinx was gonna ruin everything.
Buuut, now that we're here, I think she realizes that Jinx is one there best resources for fighting against topside. Since negotiations are off the table, with Silco being to.. deceased to agree to them.

@@DLxxx Negotiations were already off the table. One of the terms for peace was turning Jinx in. Silco wasn't going to do it. So, Jinx basically gave them his answer post-mortem.
Sevika is so underrated.. She's sucha cool character
agreed. She has more depth than most supporting/side characters to the heroes of most shows; she's pretty much unprecedented in complexity as a side character to the "villain".

1. using the falling skewer to double with and intercut between Jinx falling to the ground
2. the super subtle "click clack" noise of the skewer landing off screen at the same time Jinx lands on screen

When Vander pushes himself up out of the rubble, our boy Chuck is on the right in the next frame (when it shows Silco's people recovering on the bridge). He's the first guy to attack Vander, who Vander ends up punching off screen.

Agreed. Never played LoL a day in my life but I do love the short videos and the sheer depth of the lore they can play with to make this an ongoing IP is amazing. That being said; leave it to Netflix to f it all up hardcore and start cramming in modern political BS.

The PR of "oh we're done with this story is just that, PR... or you actually think they only wanted 2 seasons in Zaun/Piltover yet somehow failed to ever mention that until the cancellation (and look at wht else is going on at Riot - layoffs, downsizing, less money invested, closure of divisions, etc).
@@voidox Arcane was more of a passion project made to raise interest in the lore and games. It's hard to keep pumping $10 million per episode. They probably want to move past Arcane in order to not disrespect the existing work with a lower budget and lower quality story/animation. Riot went for something exceptional with Arcane, now they need to lower the budget in order to make something sustainable and profitable.

First off those lines go HARD. Brilliant way of recalling Jinx’s biggest moment’s in like less then a minute. Second, Why was was Chem Baron so shocked when he found out Silco is dead? That has to be universally known to have them make a play on Jinx. Is it because they never thought she’s kill him 🤔
I’m 99% sure that this whole clip is cut up. It feels wonky and disorganized. Which is on purpose so it can hide what’s truly going on until the final release. Tons of movies/shows do this before they come out.

Jinx is my all-time favorite character in Arcane. She doesn't even seem afraid or concerned about these guys. I think she's still reeling from Silco's death and what she did after. Season 1 was so perfect, I'm almost afraid to watch a Season 2.

I watched the show for Viktor and waiting to see his Glorious Evolution and him building Blitzcrank. Which did not happen, this is why I dont really like the first season of Arcane. Hopefully in this season we will see it, and I hope for more characters to appear, cuz the main cast has probably the least interesting characters among Piltover&Zaun champs.

My theory is that this scene happens right after Jinx blows up the coucil. Thats why Smeech got surprised for knowing that Silco is dead and why Sevika is protecting Jinx. When she finds out what Jinx did she will be very mad.
