2. Exo - Kokobop. This was a really difficult choice as I love Dope.
3. Blackpink - Whistle. One of my favorite BP songs, and while I do love KARD Oh Nana isn't my favorite.
4. Got7 - If You Do. I was obsessed with that song (even tried to learn the choreo - tough footwork). I am an Army but that isn't my favorite.
5. Lovelyz - Ah Choo. Iconic cute girl song. Never got into Laboum (although they are talented.)
6. No winner. I'm a diehard Exo-L and Army but I absolutely hate Wolf and hard to take BTS seriously as tough guys with baby Jimin and JK.

There were 3 difficult choices for me and the rest were all no hesitation, but I gotta say I'm quite biased 😅 I'm a big Universe and Melody. If you had put A.C.E or SF9 in here though? No other group would've stood a chance lmao they're my ults. THANK YOU for putting KARD in here I was really happy to see them!! I thought The Boyz were 4th gen though.
I'll be honest, I don't know A.C.E :c SF9 was a conscious decision, the same reason as with CLC, which annoys me afterwards, in the other videos you can see how much I love sf9 :D
the boyz had their debut i think in 2017, so they belong to the "late" of the third gen^^
fun fact: K.A.R.D was one of the first kpop groups I met to know - dont recall and I LOVED it

1. Twice - What Is Love? (Too easy! I Wish sounds pretty good, but it can’t compare to What Is Love)
2. EXO - Ko Ko Bop (It would’ve been nice to hear the chorus of Dope to help inform my decision. Also, cutting off at the end of the prechorus is just so dissatisfying!)
3. Blackpink - Whistle (I feel so basic picking Twice and Blackpink, but I just love their music)
4. GOT7 - If You Do (This feels like a really weird matchup.)
5. Laboum - Hwi Hwi (This was a super tough choice. Both songs sound amazing)
6. BTS - We Are Bulletproof Pt. 2 (I didn’t particularly like either song that much, but I just can’t take a song seriously where the members go “AWOOOO”)
7. Red Velvet - Red Flavor (Red Flavor is some top tier Red Velvet red concept. Not a chance I’m picking against it.)
8. SVT - Very Nice (Part of this is definitely Boys Planet affecting my feelings about it, but also it is just a really great song)
9. Red Velvet - Dumb Dumb (This is an insanely difficult and painful choice. Both songs are so great. It’s been way too long since I’ve listened to Dumb Dumb and it’s so good. TT is an incredible song and I might choose differently tomorrow)

Oh I totally understand! Kpop stans get weird over generations. I did notice that you didn't choose any of their newer songs, so it definitely was obvious that that was a conscious decision. CLC didn't get big until more toward the end of 3rd gen, but I would definitely consider them 3rd gen. Pepe is such an amazing song! I think it would beat any song in this video lol

but you can be sure that both Dreamcatcher and Weki Meki and Mamamoo are among my favorite groups! you can sometimes tell from a selection in other videos :D
so you can be sure that i thought of these groups! the thing was simply that they debuted relatively late - so most of the songs are released in another year
And I didn't feel like integrating groups that "only made their debuts" because there are definitely a lot of kpop fans who then argue: yes, they just made their debut there, but their "value" was rather later
I gather from the feedback that most people would have preferred that I "stretch the time" a bit and thus give more groups the opportunity to belong within this time, but I wanted to make sure first. otherwise i would have brought my all-time group in here too ._. I'm also annoyed that some groups aren't there, but as I said, I wanted to be sure and was too "cowardly" to do so.

I was just confused because The Boyz debuted later than all 4 above, a lot later than some even, so the exclusion seemed intentional. your criteria makes sense as well though, it's just not how people typically divide the generations, i guess? meh, it's all vague anyway :DD

What a shame there's no Mamamoo
the video is older, and at that time i sometimes had problems downloading some of the songs, videos, etc., so i can always get every video in 720p, if it's available and if the song isn't let's say a bit older , I claim that I can download music video with 1080p, it works now and that's why I often use mamamoo in my videos
but I remember back then, mamamoo was in the script for this very large save one drop one video, but it flew out, because I didn't have this opportunity at the time :c
edit: oh and if you're wondering why the 1080p was so important to me, it has something to do with this glitch pixel bug that was in my earlier videos from time to time, which I didn't want anymore
