I have the EDT and it last extremely long. Can't speak for the EDP but the EDT is beast mode longevity. Doesn't project alot but had alot of sillage. Go with what's cheaper I'm sure they both perform well
I find that the original Encre noire is brighter and more easy to wear than the Extreme one, even though I love both almost equally. I dont find the original Gothic at all. That's just me of course. :)

I recently purchased Encre Noire A L'Extreme and I enjoy it, but I'm getting a "makeup scent" vibe from it as well. Thinking that it was just me, I ignored it until a more recent purchase of YSL M7 (which gives off a similar scent amongst its notes). I looked on fragantica and the note that they both share is Patchouli. Do you (or anyone else) get a makeup scent comparison with Patchouli?

Beau di jour is stronger then all of them but.. they all last a very long time. Azzaro pour homme is my personal favorite in that old school genra. And it last all day long for me

I think a number of the Nuit D’Issey flankers are great. Or Encens, Noir Argent, and Pulse of the Night are all solid. Then of course Noir Ambre (which i believe isnt in the Nuit D’Issey line but it still solid as well)

Heritage is a higher quality more complex niche version of Beau de jour. Beau de jour is way to strong and linear smells like fabulouso floor cleaner.
