That steering wheel was designed to be like that to minimize blocking the front cluster display, not totally useless IMHO

I got one! It didn't disappoint in any aspect, it is very smooth with high standards of comfort. I think the price will maintain because they are selling it very well. 6 Year warranty + 3-year service.

one annoying thing about most Changen cars is that most models don't have auto dimming mirrors ... at that price point you expect to have that option

@@Sultan_Alii camera had nothing to do with it. Auto Dimming Mirrors prevents lights going into detover's eyes at night

Looking for some feedback. I just got my UNI K in Qatar. I observed that the tires are noisy. Is it normal coz of wheel base and they are actually Continental 21". Appreciate the feedback.

Otherwise everything about this car is sumptuous. Changan was the partner of DS automobiles a decade ago in China. The student has overtaken PSA group (now Stellantis). The Europeans have nothing more to teach to the Chinese brands. Here in Europe, MG (SAIC) is developing exponentially and is competing with leading brands such as VW, Renault and Peugeot with an average of 12,000 euros less.
We are on the verge of a market reversal. Just like in the world of mobile phones at the end of the 2010's.
Nokia, Siemens, Alcatel, Erickson, Sagem... All European, all replaced by Xiaomi, Realme, Oppo, Vivo ten years later.

Only uae dealer wants to get advantage of its unique design and screw the customers by putting extreme high price whereas in many other countries the price 40% down from uae dealer price.
New toyota prado is in the same price and in much better in additonal to its resale value.

True, in saudi the price 135k including vat, it was same price since last year, and it came in only one fully loaded option, just like the one at this video.
UAE business men are greedy, they thinks people get paid high salaries so they want to take advantage of it.
Unfortunately ministry of trade or consumer protection do nothing about it.
Good Car but the price is too high. It's not competitive with established manufacturers. However I do see a fair number of these around so they do seem to sell well.

Nice review, as always, cars great too, both in and out it also shows how far and quickly the Chinese have come, especially with cars like this, but as u said, price is too high considering that its a brand new model line from Changan here in the UAE, but yah those who'll buy this suv will buy it nonetheless, high price or not.
Can you tell me The fuel economy that you got on which speed, Driving mode(eco, normal, sport) and 2WD OR 4WD?
Also Difference between City and highway fuel economy?

It’s SAR 148k cash price including vat in ksa for the top end full option and I’ve booked one today!
In Changan showroom. Riyadh it’s around 135K SAR with more than 2 months waiting period for the car delivery!
Prebooked mine for 140,000. Its an exceptional car has totally changed my view of looking at Chinese cars!

Not to mention the power of the car… well 230hp should be enough, but wow. More than 11 seconds for a 0-100? Ridiculous!
And it has 4 exhaust pipes, at least it looks like a bit of performance, what it clearly lacks in reality though.
When i first sae the car on the street, i had very high expectations, interior looks stunning, but all the numbers are simply bad.

I tried the lexus nx 2024, comparing to changan uni k , changan performes way better and that really shocked me!
