guys, ik she told you to curl your lashes after applying mascara to give it an extra boost, but trust me, DONT DO IT IF YOU DONT HAVE EXPERIENCE. curling your lashes after applying your mascara cause cause your eyelashes to stick to the curler and rip off, no matter how light you curl them, it can still happen. get a little bit more experience before you do this!! (btw love ur vids sm!!)
That's their cultural norm, lol. I have to watch niche or subcultural people apply makeup if I want more unique takes on makeup. All countries have a preferred look though. Instagram filler face and "TikTok beauty" are popular in the US, and most women follow those trends. Some still do that heavy 2010s contour matte look as well (slightly toned down). I don't even wear foundation. I'm here for eye makeup ideas.

The problem is that I have big eyes with aegyosal and double eyelids already, so when I try these techniques they emphasize my eyes way too much, which ends up looking worse than I look like without makeup. I literally don't know how to deal with this.
Does Tao have oily skin? That's my big issue with my makeup. I use my makeup and then since my skin is too oily, it doesn't stay long. I also get those "cracking" bits around my mouth.

most highlighters are shimmery and usually have glitter in them to make something look glamourous in a way?? and matte highlighters are more for a natural shine without the shimmer :3
Well,matte highlighter is a type of highlighter that is not shimmery, I don't know any american brand that sell this kind of highlighter ,but using a lighter concealer give a similar effect.

i have a flat nose and i have just skipped contouring ever since. my nose isn't too big, but i want it to have at least some definition
my solution to that is to embrace my nose, nothing in my face has much definition anyway, any attempt to counter that makes me look weird or boring.
I love flat noses. Not saying you have stop doing whatever makeup you want to do, just saying that your nose is probably really cute regardless!

u can try other makeups where they dont really focus on the eyes much and just more on blush and lips :)
