(My notes) Reverend Dinah Osayi - "Woman, You Must Intercede!"
    1. Introduction: The Call to Intercession
Opening Worship: Reverend Dinah begins by leading a worship session, calling upon the congregation to magnify the name of Jesus, the "King of Kings" and the "Lord of Lords." She invites the presence of the Holy Spirit to impart “strength, grace, and capacity” to the attendees, focusing on spiritual preparation for the call of intercession.
Vision of the Holy Spirit’s Movement: Reverend Dinah shares her vision of the Holy Spirit as a “river” flowing through the congregation, symbolising the quickening power of God that brings life to “dry grounds” and resurrects things that were “supposedly dead” (cf. John 7:38, Isaiah 43:19).
    2. The Urgent Call to Women: Arise and Intercede
The Role of Women in Intercession: Reverend Dinah highlights the specific calling of women as intercessors in this season, stating that there is an urgent “call tonight” for “warring women” to arise-those who will not remain passive but will engage spiritually to birth God’s purposes on earth (Jeremiah 9:17-20).
Comparison to Exodus: She likens this intercession to the plea of Moses in Exodus 10:9-11, where Moses insists that Israel would leave Egypt with everything-children, husbands, and all possessions. Women are called to pray fervently, not leaving anything or anyone behind, standing against spiritual “Pharaohs” who try to hold God’s people captive.
    3. Intercession Begins with Love for God
Foundation in Love: Reverend Dinah teaches that true intercession flows from a deep love for God and His kingdom. Without this love, sustained prayer and intercession become impossible, as it is love that drives a person to stay in constant communion with God and to seek His heart for others (John 21:15-17).
Revival of Intercession: She urges a revival of intercessory prayer, especially within America. She references past revivals and believes that the same “mantles and anointings” are still available today for those who are willing to align themselves with God’s purposes.
    4. The Unique Role of Women as Spiritual “Womb-men”
The Concept of "Womb-man": Reverend Dinah explains that a woman is uniquely created with a “womb,” both physically and spiritually. This womb allows women to “birth the purposes of God” on earth. She emphasises that the enemy often attacks women because of their divine ability to bring God’s purposes from eternity into time (Genesis 1:28).
Spiritual Birthing: Beyond physical children, a woman’s womb is intended to birth spiritual assignments and God’s plans. Reverend Dinah encourages women to dedicate their wombs to God’s service, asking for the strength to birth His will on earth.
    5. Sensitivity to the Holy Spirit's Prompting
Recognising the Call to Pray: Reverend Dinah shares personal experiences of feeling a sudden “burden” or “signal” from the Holy Spirit, calling her to prayer. This sensitivity to God’s prompting is essential for intercessors, as sometimes these burdens indicate a need for immediate spiritual action (Romans 8:26).
Spiritual Burden as Fuel for Prayer: She explains that without a burden from God, it is difficult to sustain a meaningful prayer life. Intercessors should ask God for His “burden” to fuel their prayers, as burdens often indicate a critical need or divine assignment (Isaiah 62:6-7).
    6. The Depth and Weight of Spiritual Burdens
Dispensing Burdens through Intercession: Reverend Dinah discusses how burdens are not always understood intellectually; often, they come as an emotional or spiritual heaviness. She urges believers to go into prayer when they feel such burdens, as they may be carrying the need for a family member, a community, or even a nation.
Example of Jesus at Gethsemane: She references Matthew 26:36-39, where Jesus felt an overwhelming burden before His crucifixion. He continued to pray, even when His disciples could not understand the gravity of the moment. Reverend Dinah encourages believers to continue in prayer until they sense the burden has lifted, receiving strength to face what lies ahead.
    7. Building Spiritual Muscles Through Persistent Prayer
Comparison to Physical Exercise: Reverend Dinah compares intercession to physical exercise, explaining that just as one builds physical muscles over time, spiritual endurance grows through sustained periods of prayer. New intercessors may not yet have the “capacity” to carry certain burdens, but with practice, they can grow stronger (1 Timothy 4:8).
The Power of Perseverance: She emphasizes the need for perseverance, likening it to Elijah’s persistent prayer for rain in 1 Kings 18:42-44. Elijah prayed seven times before seeing a small cloud that signaled rain was coming. In the same way, intercessors are encouraged to continue praying even when there are no immediate results.
    8. Partnering with Angels in Intercession
Angelic Assistance in Prayer: Reverend Dinah teaches that God often sends angels to strengthen intercessors, especially when human strength alone is not enough. She speaks of angels providing spiritual intelligence and reinforcement, as seen in Daniel 10:12-13, where an angelic messenger was sent to answer Daniel’s prayers.
Eyes Opened in the Spirit Realm: Through persistent prayer, believers’ spiritual eyes are opened to discern the spiritual “atmosphere” of their community and identify areas needing prayer intervention. Praying in tongues, Reverend Dinah explains, brings energy to the spirit, allowing believers to receive revelation and direction from God (Ephesians 6:12, 1 Corinthians 14:2).
    9. Perseverance and Long-Range Intercession
Intercession as a Marathon: Reverend Dinah compares intercession to a marathon, requiring stamina and endurance. She cautions against praying briefly and then giving up, highlighting that some battles require long-term prayer. Persistence is key to breaking through spiritual resistance (Luke 18:1-8).
Spiritual Breakthrough through Consistency: She describes the breakthrough that comes with perseverance, explaining that even when nothing seems to change, continued intercession can eventually produce a sudden shift. This aligns with the biblical principle in Isaiah 62:6-7, where intercessors are urged to give God no rest until His purposes are established.
    10. Collaborative Intercession: Praying in Unity
Corporate Prayer as a Strategy: Reverend Dinah points to Daniel 2:17-19, where Daniel and his friends prayed together for revelation regarding King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream. This story demonstrates the power of unified intercession. When believers come together, combining their spiritual strengths, they can unlock divine mysteries and receive revelation from God.
Effective Team Prayer: She encourages intercessors to work collaboratively, allowing those who have the clearest revelation on a matter to lead the prayer. This unified approach maximizes spiritual effectiveness and enables the team to tackle complex spiritual issues with greater strength.
    11. Revival and Transformation through Persistent Intercession
Intercession for Revival: Reverend Dinah concludes with a call for revival, especially in America. She emphasises that true revival requires believers to go beyond “quick prayers” and commit to deep, consistent intercession. She envisions a future where prayer and worship emerge even in unexpected places, like government buildings and schools, as a result of fervent intercession (Habakkuk 3:2).
Taking Spiritual Responsibility: She challenges believers to take ownership of their communities, praying persistently until transformation occurs. Instead of merely protecting one’s own family, she encourages believers to pray for their entire neighbourhood, asking God to bring change to local schools, government, and community institutions.
    Conclusion and Impartation Prayers
Prayer for the Burden of Intercession: Reverend Dinah leads the congregation in a prayer to receive God’s burden for intercession. She asks the Holy Spirit to impart strength, perseverance, and spiritual capacity, so that attendees can carry and birth God’s purposes.
Impartation for Spiritual Vision and Perseverance: She prays for God to open their spiritual eyes, enabling them to see into the spirit realm and discern His will. This prayer aligns with the call for intercessors to gain insight into God’s plans and to remain steadfast until they see His promises fulfilled.

    (My Key Takeaways
Women’s Unique Role in Spiritual Warfare: Women are divinely designed to birth God’s purposes, both physically and spiritually, making them a target for spiritual attack but also empowering them to be powerful intercessors.
The Importance of Perseverance: Spiritual battles often require long-term commitment in prayer. True intercession means pressing through resistance until breakthrough is achieved.
Angelic Assistance: God provides angels to aid in intercession, offering reinforcement, intelligence, and supernatural strength for the tasks at hand.
Revival Requires Persistent Intercession: Lasting change in a community or nation can only come through dedicated, united, and persistent prayer by God’s people.)
