Baruuk Prime was released in December, which means that players only had 1 month to use Baruuk Prime before DE released the usage rates. This would explain the incredibly low 0.10% usage rate.
His base is also locked behind one of the worst grinds in the game, on top of being (at least all the opinions i've seen) considered ugly. I've also seen some complaints about eroding his restraint meter.
All and all I think the biggest problem Baruuk suffers from is: There's no real reason to use him outside of SP, Arbi's, ect. Even at those higher levels he just melts everything in 20m. Most missions you'd be better off taking a frame that has a movement ability.
I like to use Praedos and a bullet jump mod like firewalker to move around at similar speed to Wukong just with a lot less directional control xD
@@dakota9821 agree, I'm not a main baruuk but anything under arbitration level does not allow you to erode restrain fast enough for it to be worth it, and if by some miracle you manage to enter into his ultimate, the enemies are so weak they die almost inmediatly making it redundant cause at that level I can just shoot them

Some frames aged poorly but it's mostly on DE for having pushed the game in a direction that doesn't reward variety of gameplay or team composition, just efficiency.

Not really hard to guess the reasons. For me Those are frames that either have really expensive or time consuming farms behind them like Equinox; have a confusing/ non-synergizing kit like Caliban; Helminth feeder like Sevagoth; Hydroid is just weak, slow and has at least one other frame that do its job better or more easily
Though I love the idea of summoning stone clones and punching everyone as a Golem, I guess Atlas’ clunkyness doesn’t help it for many players
I'm deeply confused why Gyre has so low usage rate, she's like Volt, but much better and on steroids -w-

@@gooey5255 Well maybe you've just used her wrong :) Sure, without augment you need to re-cast her 4 constantly, but even without the augment she's basically walking tesla coil, she kill stuff around herself by just existing. With some armor stripping from helminth, like pillage, she can clear steel path with ease

Nyx is my main. I subsumed pull over her 4, and it does wonders for her kpm. Chaos when necessary, then bolts, pull, repeat. May be dull, but it’s pretty efficient for melee builds or even the new incarnons. She struggles against eximus if you’re not careful, but if modded for gating/health tanking she can do anything base steel path pretty easily.
If she ever got a rework, since Nyx is the goddess of the night, I’d love to see chaos just blind enemies instead. Breach surge blind affects eximus, so there’s no reason this couldn’t either. Also make her defense strip permanent and not based on duration or removed on recast. Idk what to do with her 1 or 4 😂
Since she’s the least used prime, there is hope 🙏
I actually use quite a few of these unpopular ones.
I used Oberon a lot in SP last year, I had a phoenix renewal build that was pretty fun.
I play Atlas a lot (one of maybe 3 people that do), hitting those crispy 100+ million dmg punches is too good.
Banshee is great, especially if you want to focus on gunplay more for awhile. You can also use her for hella good endo farming.
Nyx is my go to for lich hunts. You literally turn invincible, and there's an augment that lets you walk around and shoot while doing it.
Mag being more common than her prime makes sense, since she's a starter and her prime is vaulted.
Kinda surprised some of these don't get more love.
I haven't seen Baruuk become popular until steel path had set in. It's much easier for him to maintain his meter with the influx of enemy spawns, plus his scaling is impressive. The Circuit made him even more viable since decrees really favor melee.

You can hit lull twice really quickly in a large group of enemies and see your restrain go down enough to start desert wind and then the daggers plus the occasional lull in another group of enemies keeps your restraint down enough to breeze through
Equinox & oberon, it kinda makes sense how low they are because they're *so* much work to farm... equinox requires you to build basically 2 other warframes to make her, & oberon has a microscopic (like 0.022-0.032% for the parts) drop chance from eximus enemies

Does this take into account how easy or hard it is to obtain the frame? I would imagine Rhino is very popular because he's the 2nd frame new players get and probably used the most until the player gets something new.
It is a factor but remember Grendel is not on the list and he is the worst farm in warframe.

Nyx is good. I don't see why she is used less than a puddle. Armor strip invincibility and three abilities do croud control vs a wave a puddle rain and tenticles. You will never see hydroid in steel path, he should be buffed.

she's my main, one of my personal favorite frames
People always bring up assimilate builds and point to that as nyx being good, but id argue she has always been the queen of crowd control with chaos and the augment, which lets you spam it less often and the entire room starts fighting each other instead of you or objectives. At the very least it allows you to focus on small groups of enemies to deal with instead of all of them.
Mind control was improved with the change that they teleport to you but mind controlled AI is still horrible. There was a time where it was good where enemies would follow you around but it was buggy, DE decided to remove this feature entirely though and they didn't bring it back. The only enemy that is objectively worth mind controlling is the shield osprey unit, as they will stick to you like a sentinel and give you shield regeneration. Ancient healer gives you DR but it runs off to fight enemies, unlike the specter version.
Yeah, really powerful, also there is the augment for her 2 that allows to strip 9 enemies's armor
The reason why people undervalue nyx is that in normal content its kind of hard to make her work since everything dies so fast, steel path she is def top tier. Also making some random grineer one shot his friends in steel path with some niche melee is fun af
I'd play sevagoth but i so far have been really unlucky with getting his parts from railjack. Also my railjack isn't that good so mission survivability is also a factor.
Equinox is absurdly fucking broken with AOE Armor Strip, replace her 1 with Terrify and get a good shield gating setup on her, she can wipe out rooms faster than you can blink
I think its more of an argument of some of the frames are just hard to get/more tedious than they honestly should be. Best examples are Grendel yureli and equinox.
As a part time Equinox main the thumbnail makes me sad :(

Also there's frames like Titania which is used, but its a niche for Thermal Sunder relic opening, sadly, if that was not the case she would probably be lower (which makes me sad cause she's my most used frame)
It’s sad seeing Equinox be so low because when I started she was an S tier frame and I even grinned out her regular form (this was before the prime) if I was to buff her I think maim should give equinox a damage boost based off of a percentage of the damage she dealt with the nuke for 45s which she could use to build up her maim’s damage since maim does pitiful damage and mend should give equinox a constant health regen for 45s which would be a percentage of the healing she did with the recast of mend (the healing burst) both these buffs would carry over if she switches forms and duration and strength would affect them accordingly
Im a Sevagoth main and player's always give me grief for using him. Same when I use Voruna and Grendel. Did most of the star chart and the steel path with those three frames and I enjoy them so much. Never let players dictate who you play as.
Nyx was only a need when raids were a think but when raids left Nyx and trinity usage plummeted
1:40 yeah, on top of that Grendel had just received a rework and Voruna had just been released at the moment these statistics were published, which only makes their stats less valid
the issue with some of these frames are some lack survivability like banshee or the frames perform similar or better than the other frame with minimal effort for example Oberon has an expensive armour strip compared to a frame like nekros, the helminth system and some reworks have brought some life back into these frames like Nyx and Banshee being perfect for sister/lich hunts but I do hope more frames like these get the attention they deserve.
Hate that I never see other equinoxes… she’s so overlooked cause people don’t see her for the literal sp nuclear bomb she is.
Equinox has one purpose. Affinity farming. You go into a misison, make everything inside sleep, kill with quick spin n win gundao, repeat. The Clarke Method.
Equinox, Nyx, Banshee, Atlas, Oberon, those do not surprise me, mostly because the game developed without them, right now there is a lot of changes in warframes and the older the warframes are, the more behind are now, most of them anyway, few are the exception
Nyx a particular case because of her toolkit being really good in defense, that until more nuke strat came in place and less viable became the CC, the last nail in the coffin was the overguard... You can still make builds with her to nuke too, but is so specific since you need wrathful advance
Most people will just chase the Meta. Personally, I LOVE Nyx. She's currently my main, and probably will be for quite a while. I say this as someone with well over 4,000 hours in the game- Nyx has perhaps the highest survivability and best crowd-control in the game. Toss Gloom on her and then run a maxed Chaos, and you can generally walk through any content without ever being touched. Then if you grab a half dozen thralls and start stripping Defense with psychic bolts, you have one of the best Utility frames in the game.
The main problem with Nyx, IMHO, is that you really have to understand game mechanics in order to use her properly. You can't just grab a Felarx and start rampaging, the way you can with other Frames. For that matter, you could go through missions completely unarmed (if that were allowed, which it isn't) simply by using Chaos to force your opponents to attack each other.

I want to make a built on Sevagoth, but the forma cost is so high for a frame I will inevitably have to replace when it's prime rolls out, so I wait. Additionally, Hydroid was never good. I love Hydroid's puddle ability as it's actually really fun if used right, but with the nerf it got to puddle size it's become rather dull. I used to use pre-nerf Hydroid for Void Defense and use puddle mode to completely lock off the main door, and both stair selections near it effectively locking down the entire main lane the enemies come from. You can't do that anymore.

The bottom of the usage chart really is a good mix of all the reasons frames are unpopular. Several of them, like Baruuk, are hard to farm (pre-prime). A few others are on the low end of the power scale like Hydroid or Atlas. Then come the frames who are good at what they do, such as Oberon or Valkyr, but have it done much more efficiently by someone else. And lastly we have frames like Nyx and Equinox who are super strong, but require more effort or input to get there compared to the frames in the top half of the chart.
Of all of those groups I think the last one is the only one DE should leave alone. Farm times need examination, obviously low powered frames should be reworked, and solid yet flawed frames should get some quality of life. "Finicky" frames are fun though - everyone needs a niche, guilty pleasure.
Nyx was surprising because whenever I used her it trivialized most content as shes a really strong frame but most people just know her as female excalibur.
Hydroid never had the title for farming frame because it has no ability to farm whereas Nekros actually does if anything hydroid would be a farming support because it has a massive AOE but that's it he doesn't help with making things drop or to increase the chance that things will drop.

Nyx needs some love and an overdue rework.
One thing about Nyx which bums me out is like, she's one of those old frames that got extremely power crept and NEEDS a rework (or some big buffs or readjustments), but iirc she's Rebecca's favorite frame. I experienced this when playing FFXIV, but when you learn that something has gone a long time with minimal changes is a dev's favorite thing (YoshiP's favorite job was Black Mage), it feels like a death sentence for any sort of changes, even if it would be for the better.
I'm extremely fine with her being a low damage supporty crowd control frame (in fact I love debuff supporters), but she just reflects a lot of clunky old design philosophies which would be much smoother if reexamined today
Wukong Prime is my 100 percent go to for almost every mission
This is unrelated to the video in regards to less-used-warframes but did the Developers nerf Mag? Her ability, Polarize, I was able to kill most enemies with it. Now, it's barely doing any damage.
Speaking of mag, I think regular mag being more popular is due to her being a starting frame. Before prime resurgence recently, not being as available.
Nyx is one of those frames you won’t see shine until you need her, los strength permanent armor strip, her hard CC and invulnerability at demand regardless rolling guard

the problem with Nyx is many other warframes can do what she does, and better, and if you're lacking one of these 4 you can just use the Helminth.
for example Wisp has invulnerability with her 2 and being in the air makes her invisible, her Motes give her survivability + passive CC by stunning nearby enemies, her 3 strips enemy armor and is also CC, and her 4 can be replaced by anything. Usually roar or eclipse to delete enemies when combined with her 3

The more warframe videos I watch, the more I wonder if making Hydroid my main was a bad choice. I enjoy running him

i knew Nyx wasn’t used much but I didn’t think it was that bad. The only things she’s actually missing from her kit is a pull ability. she has armor strip and crowd control.

He's almost TOO good. You can red-crit with his 4 with almost no modding at all.
I love Baruuk too and turnt slowly into a Baruuk main spending much love modding him well and make him strong. Hes such fun to play ^^
I use Oberon sometimes, and he is pretty good, but his armor and health buff for his 3 needs to be enhanced.
At 250 pier strength, you get 110 health a second and like 500 armor. It’s good, but it needs to scale better, cause at high steel path, he just dies

Excal prime is there because he is not available anymore, not because people don't use him. Unless you can time travel back to 2013, you will not be able to play him.

valkyr is an amazing warframe, my favorite by far. i still remember when they updated the stalker and she was hidden op cuz she was the only warframe that could reliably 1v1 him with some clever timing. her claws coupled with the fact that she is literally invincible to anything, other than ability disables, makes most missions trivial for her. unfortunately 2 out of her 4 abilities are utterly useless, i would love to see a rework on her first and third ability (although her first ability is fun and gives her some extra precise maneuverability). i can see why she is not played very much cuz of power creep, but she is still a strong frame that shitrolls a ton of content with her invincibility and her insanely high close range damage (not joking, go test it out. shit 1 shots most things you can find in the game).
Equinox is nice frame but atleast for me i never use her 1 or 2. I also almost never use her day form purely because i dislike how it looks and i wish i could just use her night form while using days skills.
And now that i think about it, i dont remember the last time i saw a hydroid both normal or prime. Not even in circuit.
nyx need a rework i like her but the down side of the her amplitude mod who affects your speed and can't jump so horroble to use if they just do something on this mod already help her because her skills are really good
i have the suspicion that i may be singlehandedly keeping valkyr off this list... i play a lot of valkyr. i've got something like 2400 hours in warframe. about half my equip time is accounted for by either valkyr or valkyr prime.
equinox i have an educated guess as to why their number is so low. I remember they were quite powerful when their prime released. part of that could be buffs/nerfs making them less effective in the eyes of the community, with the niche equinox filled quite possibly being made obsolete by the Helminth system. however, i suspect a large part of it is newer players don't like the grind to earn equinox. getting eight parts from an obnoxiously long boss fight in the form of Tyl Regor is just abysmal design in my eyes. and i'd wager most players don't want to spend their plat, or their time+effort earning the prime frame for something they don't know how to use. and with older players not really using them when they have better options available to them from the helminth system or other frames, the newer players don't even get a good opportunity to see if equinox is worth the effort.
Im late but ill just point out if atlas didnt have a busted landslide setup (im an atlas main and refuse to use it) his numbers would be even lower I feel. There are tons of "one punch" atlas builds you see all over the web and if people who liked those million damage builds didnt exist you would have a pretty crappy kit. Nothing wrong with liking his landslide builds either, I just feel that spamming 1 for the rest of my life doesnt cut it lol.
I play with Equinox sometimes in team.Very useful warframe if you are using for example my favourite build with Sevagoth's ability and slow down all map with 99% effiency
Sad thing is equinox is better off with gloom than she is with her pre-gloom slow n damage reduce as her innate requires a mod slot to function. She was the burst AoE, CC god caster back before eximus and this room-clear became the meta.
Now she’s just a squishy support frame that NEEDS 1-2 augments to do what helminth provides for “free”.
Situationally powerful? Sure, but also the victim of enemy power immunity as invis/DR/shield-gate is king now (tho equinox can actually shieldgate pretty damned well).
I mean recent primes shouldn't really be taken into account since we'll they are recent with baruuk his base farm is annyoing same with industry hildryn and others
Nyx gets outclassed by lots of frames. Nekros does her job better than her and any mission you might need to force enmies to fight each other becuae you dont have a strong enough weapon you can just run Octavia. You have better survivability being invisible and the ball kills all. Also for sorties that have weapon requirements, you can run Wukong, Excalibur, Valykr, or Titania that just dont care about the limitation because they bring their own weapon with their abilities.
As a Nyx main I can definitely say that she is not as interesting because she is trapped in between two concepts and just never made up her mind. I once heard triburous (a war frame UA-camr, he’s actually pretty funny) say that when he though of nyx he imagined magneto throwing objects and people and levitating but I personally imagined professor X style abilities, she’s literally two characters trapped in one and consequently isn’t memorable enough at either fantasy,
TLDR: nyx is trying to be both professor X and magneto at the same time and imo she should stick with prof X and let magneto be a different character.

I was one of those players who actually enjoyed playing her back before plains of eidolon was released, I loved using Chaos and making enemies fight eachother

I love Yareli :3 so much so I have an entire playlist just for her. I'm pretty sure it's a skill issue.
im just going to say for someone who just crafting equinox needing double the basic parts of a frame chassis, neuroptics and systems for both night and day then crafting night and day for the exact same time as it does for a usable frame basically double the craft time from 3d 12h for any other frame to 6d 12h if you start all the crafts at the same time all that for in my opinion an underwhelming frame
I love Nyx and Gyre for solo runs. Seeing Wukong or revenant everytime is kinda boring. Looks like ppl are afraid to try other warframes and got stuck in one or two frames. Speaking from normal starchart perspective(my experience so far) so no reason to see many high survivability frames. Duviri is good at forcing ppl to try other warframes imo but we will see if this is true in 2023 list. 🙏 nice video.
Even for those of us who enjoy Atlas, he is painful to play. Literally
You get a build where you can punch infinitely but each kill takes a button press or two or three. And thats when you connect with the enemy. Until then you are spamming the ability button waiting to see an enemy in range.
As a general rule of thumb for me on SP, for every 15 minutes I play on atlas I have 1000 abilities used, again not including the times where i hit the button but due to the enemy not being in range it doesn't cast. My finger starts to cramp after 20 minutes or so.
Pro tip: Same with melee spammers bind your E to your mouse wheel

Time to main the least played farms to feel special
Honestly nyx kinda died in her rework when DE messed with her psychic bolts ability and both nerfed and buffed it. You can no longer really build them to kill now it's just armor strip(when there are many many better versions) I used to play Nyx exclusively for trials when she had a great role there at the time. Warframe has moved very far from the CC meta to just the kill everything meta and nuke the map. So lots of Warframes along those lines died in usage
I play a Nyx... Nyx Prime actually... I know I never liked her when I first played her, she fixes weird, not HP or DPS, problems. I didn't like that. So I turned her into something else. My Nyx is a Void tank. I take half my groups damage... and absorb it. I can taunt everything and with a little Helmith magic, do a pretty fair Cuisinart Impression using Yareli's aquablades. But's there's more, my sentinel (Dethcube Prime with a tricked out Helstrum) is also impervious and feeds me energy so I can deal with those nasty Leech Eximus who are my only bane... oh yea, I can still take that nasty MFer and make them my servant. So yea... I play a Nyx, but I play her 'My' way.

I imagine Equinox is only on there due to the horrible grind. They're actually one of the better and more versatile warframes in the game. Both a strong DPS support and healing support. There's more to Equinox than 2 on night form.

Are there even still people who care about how strong a Warframe is? There's alot of mods and builds that can make any frame 1 shot everything, The only thing that decide if the Warframe is good or not is if they are fun to play.
i'll say it plain : the original warframes were ( as they call it " updated " ) nerfed from their original versions to purposly make them less effective so as to not outshine the new warframes . I know their are the _ dev team can do no wrong cucks and that group is followed sharply by the ones who never got to play the original versions so have no idea what was lost but co-sign the former group because they are protective of speaking ill of the game . those people will be the slow death of the game as a whole and with a resession comming that might be sooner then later.
nyx is almost never talked about which is understandable with only have 2 good abilities, but those abilities are pretty good, her 2 is just a better ash shuriken that works without and augment and her 3 is CC that even works on eximus which is so rare

@@turkeykent3719 I run her with magnetic resistance arcane (arcane nullifier) so enemies can't drain the energy
@@PsyX82 yes they can lol, ancient disruptor has 2 sources of energy drain: the mag proc and the innate % drain u have clearly never read up on those guy
@@turkeykent3719 never tried that in simulacrum... and yes I didn't read their wiki article... I just never noticed beeing drained of energy quickly other than very high levels where you just can't sustain the incoming damage when facetanking
Oh boy...good thing I never go off what the community uses or even thinks for that matter. I won't deny some of these frame's performance compared to better frames, but that's no excuse to forever abandon them. Also, using the excuse of farming for a frame's parts is such a stupid reason to not use them. The statistics are about frame usage, not farming for parts. Players can farm for them, buy them from the shop or from other players. They have options, use them! But then again we have many of those players who will tell you to "FaRm FoR tHeM oNlY oR yOu'Re RuInInG yOuR pLaYeR eXpErIeNcE." Sorry that the plebian in your eyes bought a whole frame instead of farming for them since it's magically affecting your gameplay experience. Lol I'm getting off topic.
Idefinitely play Equinox Prime a lot and on occassion Oberon Prime. Gyre is one I main a lot too. This is why I never bother with this sort of stuff since it creates a bad mindset of "PlAy OnLy GoOd FrAmEs ThAt CaN bUfF, nUkE, cRiT oR HeAl WeLl." I want nothing to do with that mindset. I want to enjoy the game with all frames, not enjoy the game according to other players...
I can't fathom how Inaros is any different than hydroid in popularity.
Multiple reasons.
1) Inaros is a full quest frame. Meaning you can get him with 0 farming. Hydroid comes from Vey Hek.
2) Inaros is actually cool. Big HP, when you die, you don't, pocket sand, you eat/drink people, sand puppets and he is coarse and rough and irritating. Hydroid... is a puddle.
3) Inaros is actually not bad. Sure, HP tanking doesn't work too well when you are pushing Steel Path. But the majority of players aren't doing that.

Or if you want a tank but don't want to work go Rhino it's way earlier.
Inaros is slow and doesn't really have any good abilities for damage, control, utility. He's just got an hp bar that's all. Hydroid can puddle for invulnerability and the kraken is cool even though it's useless. He looks good too.
@@fvb7 see nidus is very campy his link snaps if u move too far while inaros is tanky anywhere also he can fight some foes that rhino cant Zanuka, Violence, Stalker, etc foes that can turn off iron skin
I can't see why Nyx has user rate that low. Simply for cheesing liches and sisters is enough of a reason for her to have higher usage rate.
For cheesing anything, really. The only thing in the game that counters Nyx is the Ancient Disruptor aura energy drain effect, since it ignores most invincibility effects - including Absorb.
I use Nyx all the time for lich and sister hunting

To be Nyx is more end game viable. He abilities can be a massive advantage in high level matches. In lower levels, she may seem more dull or boring, or abilities not needed at the time. But high levels she can really shine.

Suprising that valk isnt at the bottom of the list. She wasnt good from the start, broken by melee 2.0 and then nerfed time and time again.
Ehh Valkyr can still one shot acolytes if built right. Infinite invincibility easy for for newbies to get into steel path. She has purpose somewhat.
Cliban and Yareli are simply trash and don't deserve to be primed but primes like Equinox, Oberon, and Trinity don't get used because half of the community doesn't even know how to build them to be viable and would rather run a frame that requires no brain to use.
Caliban still suck but after some changes Yareli is a strong frame now u just need to get used to her movements
nyx is the frame that achive 100% DR. just in case any1 doesnt know .
Just want to let people know, Nyx is a phenomenal survival frame with her Absorb augment, one of the best IMO. As well as being great for interception because her chaos can get people off the terminals.
You just listed 1 thing that literally every frame does better and listed another thing that is completely useless.
Face it, Nyx is, and always has been the single worst frame in the game.
Her 2nd ability does more then just keep people off of interceptions, personally feel that's a bad example of the kit and the Augment for her 4 isn't bad but I wouldn't say it's good either. I do think she's pretty good tho and has some solid synergies with the helmith

Nyx is pretty fun IMO. Although personally I helminth away Absorb and stick other abilities there because I hate slow playstyles. If her 2 was spamable then she would actually be pretty good.
Survivability alone doesn't really complete objectives, which is why Wukong was one of the worst frames in the game before DEPablo saved him. What's more, the fact Nyx needs an Augment to move AND she moves like molasses going uphill in January (with crutches) when she does have the Augment means that there's a case to be made for her being worse than Oldkong. Chaos doesn't really help much as it's literally a downgraded Rad proc (since it doesn't count as a proc for Condition Overload) and almost any other CC effect would be better, including just having a weapon that can spread Rad procs. The only thing I can think of that she has going for her is that Psychic Bolts are a 100% strip with only +30% Ability Strength, but they're so unreliable for me (I remember a particular occasion where I tried to strip a heavy enemy and the bolts went for literally everything EXCEPT for the guy right in front of me that I had my crosshairs over) that I'd rather use literally any other strip.
Nyx is something special I've mained her for a long time and must admit theres a lot to be desired

Nyx is really good usually for end game player who are higher MR. You're not going find some low MR playing her and dosen't even invest in her because for her to be viable costs a lot that's why no one plays her, but the higher MR players do play her. Ik because I never seen any low MR play her or even have pass 1 percent on Nyx in their profile. I play Nyx myself as my end game frame. She do shine, but not for players who are not at the very end game which I mean end game as everything complete on profile because you want try something new while waiting on new content.
Nyx was one of my first frames and she was amazing early game. Being able to make all the enemies in a room shoot each other is super handy early on. I'm starting to use her more again now that I have good mods that bring her up to par with higher level content.
I can confirm some of those low-end frames aren't there due to power. I wouldn't be playing Warframe today if I hadn't platted a Hildryn back then, as not needing to worry about energy really freed me up to do things and she's an extremely potent frame. But I can't imagine trying to *farm* her, especially in the course of my newbie play experience.

I've mained Hildryn for AGES, ever since she came out with the Exploiter Orb. I will say, the farm is not fun. At all. But it does leave you with 10 billion high-rank toroids so levelling with Little Duck becomes a BREEZE

Surprised Ember is so low. Her rework was one of the best ever, she has good abilities and is really fun now. I guess people either haven't bothered going back to her after the changes, or maybe don't like managing the immolation meter
Her armor strip has a poorly line of sight, it constant needs to recast her 3 to work properly. That's the only problem I have with her.

I'm a nyx main and have always loved her. Yes she has problems, although her 3rd is great CC, I use second as armor stip with aguement (which actually works really well) and 4 as a "get out of death free card". I love her but she desperately needs a rework. Maybe not as much as hydroid tho
Nyx isn’t a bad frame, but she kinda got screwed by the Eximus rework. At this point, I think her primary use from non-Nyx mains is killing Archons.
Not really. Nyx just armor strip goes through overgaurd n blast with gun 1 shot Eximus. Limbo got screwed with Eximus rework with Eximus walk right into void 1 shot him while in void mode that's why there are few Limbo players atm.

@@andyharley2644 agreed eximus killed the”cc to win” meta that nyx once dominated and spun up the invis n AoE kill builds that are still the meta. Thankfully you can subsume her 4 and her kit can still work wonders, I always found absorb to be a liability as it just gets you surrounded by all the things you don’t want on top of you.

Another thing to remember is this doesn't mean certain frames are worse than others, it just means people use the other frames more for most likely an xyz reason. Such as you said no prime variants, but also certain frames are best for specific activities.
Equinox is underrated. The augment peaceful provocation scales with strength and makes it so that you can either have an 80% slow and damage reduction aura or a 70+ str aura. Unless you're on a mission that needs sleeping enemies you can subsume 2 for silence, terrify, or fire blast to make easy finishers or armor stripping.
She is only this low because her farm is more difficult. She would be even lower if she didn't have a prime
Most of her augments should be built into her kit. So they woundnt take up so many mod slots. Like why do we need an augment to keep the stack of her 4 when we change forms..
Terrify is a better slot in than Fire Blast
Equinox could use a buff. I should have to be wasting mod slots to bring her up to par.
They need to build Mend/Maim's augment mod into her kit, and make the shadow clone from her first ability's augment mod permanent.
People just go for what is easy because for the most part people don't want to grind handicapped. Use a lazy shield gatting Khora to do steel path with ease to get essence as easily as possible instead of bringing a Nezha. Nezha isn't bad, but he won't one shot enemies in large groups while also letting you shield gate so you cannot die.
Equinox is good but she is also complicated and needs maximization to be used easily, or the helminth system which a lot of people just don't touch or have not bothered with yet.
Also i might as well be the Mind Control expert in this entire community, ive followed this ability from the start and i know all the times DE bugged it, enemies that got you killed due to friendly fire, and most of the major changes it got.
I use Equinox a lot and honestly she isn’t that hard when you get used to her. Not to mention she is ridiculously strong with even some of the most meh set ups. My favorite involves using duality with the augment for her 3.
As someone who solos a lot and was a Nyx main( now ash main) it’s crazy how slept on nyx is, especially with the helminth system. She can crowd control, strip armor, be literally invincible as long as you have energy, and can stun lock enemies and so much more with the helminth.

been playing Nyx for a bit recently and damn she makes everything a breeze. Especially with Silence instead of her 4, a range + duration build just locks everything down effectively.

The problem with Nyx in my opinion is that everything she can do can be done better and often with less hassle through other means. Her strip is finicky and limited (limited enemies, doesn't stick around, bolts can have a mind of their own, etc), her CC is mostly soft CC that's better accomplished with either Rad procs or some other source of hard CC, her Mind Control minion is (to quote InternetHistorian) "more A than I", and her invulnerability... well... in a game where Iron Skin isn't even the REAL reason to play Rhino, hearing people talking about immortality builds like Assimilate + Dispensary + Equilibrium comes off as damning with faint praise.
I had never even ranked my Equinox Prime. But after I saw one demolishing everything in Steel Path survival against 3 meta builds I had to pick it up. Equinox with terrify nukes absurdely hard, flying high above on kill count and total damage contribution, since it literally scales off of other damages around you. Put on 265 range, some duration, some efficiency. Compensate strength with Molt Augmented, and bam. Terrify for CC and armor strip, then press that 4 and watch the numbers fly
NGL the only thing I really know how to do with my Equinox Prime is nuke with Mend & Maim in Day Form or pop her 3 and 4 at the same time in Night and occasionally hit 2 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ My one buddy insists she's actually a great nuke with Maim but so far she's nowhere near as fast or easy of a nuke as I've seen from some randoms playing stuff like Volt, Banshee, Mirage, Saryn, etc.
Kyaii has a great build where equinox can easily be the best nuke in the game.
Equinox can nuke with an armor strip subsume like terrify. If you feel like investing archon shards into her, then pillage would work as well if you can push it over the 400% full strip requirement
Am I just weird, but Yareli is my favorite warframe because she is literally broken easy mode for farming and super cute looking, and... Nyx is my second favorite because she can literally do any content at low level because of her mind control ability. I would never have guessed Nyx would be the bottom, she's just so cool.

No, you're not weird. Yareli is a great frame. Unfortunately, she has real mobility issues in older, hall-based tile sets. In Open World, she's my go-to frame because of how much fun she is to play. But in, say, an Exterminate mission on a Corpus ship, she spends way to much time embedded in walls or stuck on low-hanging doorways.
Well yarelli have an stigma similar to Limbo but while limbo. But while limbo is a frame that trivialize certain niches with litle to no competition, what yarelli does well she have a lot of competition specially in titania.
Yareli is ok now with her new Augment makes her immortal because damage so low you're going be shield gating almost all the time, but my problem is her secondary weapon because there is not that many good secondary use on her.
It's kind of weird since both Yareli and Nyx are arguably the worst frames in the game regardless of your personal enjoyment. Nothing to do with their character designs, it's just that their kits are so fundementally flawed that they only manage to serve very niche purposes.
What surprised me was Nidus and Baruuk, you could actually make a case for them being the best.

Oberon is functionally unkillable for the entire stat chart (sp included) plus he has one of the best looking platinum skins in the game. Only issue is that he’s utterly reliant on his guns for kill potential.
@@IRMentat With decent ability strength, his grass clears nearly all non-SP content easily. For SP, high ability strength plus smite infusion and subsuming his 4 either for roar or an armor stripper makes most weapons able to clear rooms.
Limbo is almost *impossible* to use while playing on mobile *with* touch screen controls. I think I only ranked him up to level 8.
Both Nidus and Gyre are under-rated. Gyre, especially with the Cathode Current augment. It's bonkers how much damage you can do and you basically never run out of energy.
Gyre with Pillage over her 2 is literally one of the craziest DPS frames in the game. Unfortunately requires a ton of investment though, at least 4-5 Forma and Archon shards for cast speed and strength.
Been getting a LOT of nidus on the SP circuit it’s been my second most survivable frame (mesa is queen for me so far as she also nukes the entire area, especially once the decrees kick in). I’m Half hoping DE never fix that bug.
As to gyre, never considered pillage, I’ll have to give it a go, tho after playing Hildryn a while the pillage spam is up there with nu-embers 4-spam (or worse, the Lavos 3 button presses for every ability cast cycle) for my least desirable things to play. I’ll admit gloom was tempting me as there’s plenty in AoE going down so the lifesteal should beep her 100% at all times from the procs alone.
