Agreed, had 2 rival clans start a world war that destroyed both of them. Although I could see his point, so unless you like seeing power struggles between clans you won't notice anything different whenever a new clan comes to power.
I really like that they are leading more into story aspects of the game. Families and clans and cultures and species may not be as interesting gameplay wise, but I think it makes it feel more real.
@TheFungusAmongus-pv9dw I think it’s different ways people want to enjoy the game. I don’t know who this guy is but it sounds like he’s more into the fantasy “evil kingdom versus good kingdom” fables. I’m interested in seeing how long an empire lasts, how many times it’s split up by rebellion etc.
@@ImAWeirdo666imagine ur just a cave man, what would be easier, harvesting many materials and weaving them together for clothing, or stick hands in water and grab fish?
It would be cool if biomes could affect knowledge and skills. So if horses were ever added, maybe people living in deep forests will be less likely to ride horses than those living in fields. Maybe horses will also be slightly slower in forests, giving them more of an advantage in the open. There are just so many things to at could be cool additions. I think stand-alone bosses that you can spawn would be cool. So maybe they could be like titans or creatures similar to ones in the shadow of the colossus. The dragon kinda falls into that category. What a great point in the video. People seem to have a misconception that technology is linear, this might be because of the Civilization games purporting this concept. For example: when the Roman Empire fell, Europe lost many of its effectice medical practices that were only rediscovered during the renaissance and even late colonization periods. We even forgot the recipes for certain secretive inventions by the ancients like Greek fire and Roman concrete. Technology is not linear and I love this point being made in the video and I hope they reinforce this idea in the game.
I think you're right about the walls being something that either you as the player can put down or the civilizations will be able to put down. There was a sort of joke at the end of one of the update posts that said something like "As a bonus, a walled-in greg" which means walls are being put in since they weren't there before
Something that I've always wanted is to have biomes effect civilizations more. Like if a kingdom is founded in let's say an acid biome, perhaps later down the line people would start developing traits like acid blood, acid proof, or acid touch. I'd also like different wood types to be their own separate categories of wood, and buildings using that wood would have different models. So kingdoms based entirely in one biome would have a different set of buildings than a kingdom in another biome. And kingdoms spanning multiple biomes would have a diverse amount of buildings.
Maybe layered worlds would be nice, allowing the players to see what happens under the earth (mining, potentially even underground kingdoms) that’d be cool

Clans are super interesting story wise. I always change the clan name to the name of the first leader and treat the clan name as a last name story wise to track noble lineages within kingdoms. Seeing how certain clans rise and fall within kingdoms and outside kingdoms is dope.
Think agree with that a lot, making each race have more unique qualities to them would be super neat! Like them having unique traits, like the elves having percent chance to dodge attacks, or each race having different types of defensive buildings like walls or even different weapons. Really interested if they add proper defense for each kingdom like walls, lookout towers, etc. Would be very interesting seeing if they add siege weapons too like Trebuchets or Catapults! There's a lot of things the devs can mess around with, super interested to see what they add! Also thanks for always making interesting video ideas! Hope you feel much better shortly!
They should allow cities to have an offensive army and a defensive army it’s often in my games armies just walk passed each other or flat out ignore each other
Video Idea: Follow closely the life of a clan in a kingdom, and try to weave a story there. As was said previously, clans are pretty cool still, they can trade power in civil wars, and it's super fun to see two kingdoms ruled by one clan, which does happen often btw. Overall, to fill the months between now amd the release of the update, a video all about the life of a clan and each specific member of it on the path to the throne and their eventual death would be super fun to watch.
Info about the kingdoms I was looking forward to for a while! I love doing runs with cultures and stuff so when they kinda mix together it would be nice to see how many people of a certain culture are in a kingdom. It would be nice if we had a button to remove/teleport certain cultures from certain kingdoms as well
Your near-the-end point of kingdom tech variety would absolutely be my #1 pick for wants. Honestly itd be great if biomes affected weaponry and tech as well. Biomes that have no wood build with something else, biomes with no ridable animals wont learn to cavalry, etc. Also, diff races should have diff base chances of certain skills, like agility skills like dodging would have a lower chance to appear in a dwarf kingdom than an elf one due to physiology and such...bot not impossible!
One of the things that I'm wishing for the update is that kingdoms don't know about each other's existence unless they made contact. I don't like kingdoms waging war with each other on the other side of the world
There will be a debuff when anyone fights the lemons, slashing them sprays lemon, blinding and making people/orks/dwarves uncontrollably squint their mouths :D
Need some war related features like peace treaties that player can read, detailing the conditions to end the war such as but not limited to: capitulation, surrendering lands, puppet state, enough killing for the day so no more war, etc etc. New units, I like to have new magic based units like mages, and a mage college building to train mages.
In regards to having the different kingdoms unlock different technologies: I think it would be cool if there was a large bank of technologies that actually don't get unlocked in a given game, and you have to play another campaign in order to have the chance to unlock different tech. That would increase replayability. You have some good insights in this video.
With the family part, I'm imaging mods like an attack on titan mod. Making a Ymir family that can turn into titans, things like that. That would be awesome.
I think it would be cool if they had it so kingdoms can trade territory and stuff like that, also dwarves can walk on mountains, they walk normal speed on hills, and they walk slow speed on a mountain, like a human would walk slow speed on a hill, and dwarves can also carve through mountains, make path ways

Idea for reiligons in worldbox -choose between one god or set of pantheon of gods -naming gods and the traits like god of war etc -tradition for set reiligon like supremacy or human or animal sacrifice -nations will start crusade to spread there faith
I think the Subspecies thing means that we can change the color, personality, or positives and or negatives of a certain Kingdom(?), or group of people(?), or a species(?)
it seems to be making your own species... you can even choose how they reproduce... as well as actually needing males and females instead of everyone being able to reproduce on their own (but this can be changed via subspecies so you could make a race of aliens that laid eggs ect)
I think they meant creating a new species completely with the traits you choose and the look you make and it will good to mess around with these things if they gave us all the possible body structures
for a good update: Walls for defense Customised shields with flags on them (idk if thats already here) More flag variation. Horseback More armour Subspecies can unlock different things to other subspecies Magic Palaces
Dont forget siege machines put really how you will see that pixlated image on that pixlated shield it is really pixlating in a pixlated thing which the one would never see
The walls pic looked like it’s own race like an undead one mostly because of the biome. Also I think in one of the polls there was a vote about the cold ones making there mini kingdom
9:21 this is not true really i used to make some silly stories about clans a clan betray the ruling clan a king kill his son who rebelled on him and in one point after so many wars and betrayels i have an embire of the great grand father who let his great great grand son have a kingdom for himself and they are chilling never attacking each other and it was beutiful or the sons and daughters of great past heroes and thier clans once i had a dragonslayer who got hit by a thunderbolt twice without my intervention then she is a leader of a clan i named the dragons born and made them fight dragons and i helped them win it as thier great grand mother killed a dragon spawned randomly by chance with her bow and it was awesome as she had so many warrior other traits and she was in the army so it is kinda her bless

Oh man an update video? This guy never runs out of ideas! GOAT!
worldbox is slowly becoming sims
But better
Subspecies seems so cool to mess with, the fact that you can change them down to their chromosomes is sick. Really excited for that!
What’s good gorg your the best world box youtuber
Can't believe, our descendants gonna enjoy 3D Worldbox🙏
Pov 7 gens later my greatest grand great gold grand great grand son plays worldbox 3.0
@zaxseercorrection, WorldBox 0.99
Im pretty sure those were crab people with homes made of coral and shells
Imagine seeing an army of lemons fighting a army of demons
they made a musical artist about that
GTA 6 and Hytale will probably release before the update
I can't wait for the next update I love all the new textures for the nuke and crabzilla it makes crabzilla feel more ancient.
Worldbox would more upgraded and get popular again
Lemonfolk! Yes! Can't wait to see what you get up to with them, Gorg!
I would love a "wonder" type building like civ has where only one nation at a time can have it
Ngl yeah I love the idea of pyramids
Fancy statues
Buildings
2:21 just probably changing the number value instead of giving an actual trait
Get well soon ❤❤❤ love from america's hat :)
for a good update:
Walls for defense
Customised shields with flags on them (idk if thats already here)
More flag variation.
Horseback
More armour
Subspecies can unlock different things to other subspecies
Magic
Palaces
Dont forget siege machines put really how you will see that pixlated image on that pixlated shield it is really pixlating in a pixlated thing which the one would never see
The walls pic looked like it’s own race like an undead one mostly because of the biome. Also I think in one of the polls there was a vote about the cold ones making there mini kingdom
I think there's gonna be 6 new races
Books in world box sounds trippy man
Two years without an update Geometry Dash Went seven years
