TIGHT WEATHER GAP, LATE CROP, SILAGE 2023 (MF 590, Renault Ceres 340X)

cutting grass needs a window of at least 4 days to provide time for mowing, shaking out, rowing, bailing, wrapping and stacking. the job can be long and boring at times especially when it takes you 5 hours to shake out 15 acres on a MF 590 with a haybob. if your lucky enough then you might have a radio and if you are feeling snazzy then you can connect your phone to it. of coarse this took longer than it needed to some times when you run into issues with top links lengthening and tines coming loose, this is a prompt to check and grease your machines regularly before something breaks or someone gets injured.
we use ZTR 165 mowers, both are from different years.
we use a SIMAK SPRINT 300 haybob to shake the grass out to dry.
we use a STOLL WESTMACK R 4154DS to put the grass in rows for the bailer to come.
