Only brand I've found that is perfect for 4C. Not every product is needed or amazing, but the hair creams are second to NONE. Even after all these years of other brands coming out. They also don't rely on Coconut Oil.
I agree with you!! Especially about the coconut oil because I am over seeing that as a base in so many products. I love the timeless nature of this brand.
Qhemet Biologics is a wonderful brand for those who have thick and severely "dehydrated" hair. If that is not your hair type, in my opinion, you may find their products to be greasy and heavy. That being said, the Aetiopika butter is one of my favorite hair products. If I want a defined, shiny twist out, I use it because I know that I will get always get the desired results 100% of the time. I used to use the Olive and Honey Balm in the winter, but stopped because the pump on the bottle quit working; given how expensive their products are, I expect the packaging to be stellar.
Yes sis I agree. If you don't have thick or dry hair, they can be too greasy. I have the balm in a mini version and that bottle is more user friendly. But yes, I agree, for the price, everything should be in tact.
@@drmichelledaf I have very thin, fine hair and some of their heaviest products (the Amla heavy cream and twisting butter) work very well on my hair. However, their products for fine hair leave them dry and brittle.
Love Qhemet Biologics! The butter is great! However, if I had a daughter with type 4 hair, I would always stock the Cocoa Tree Detangling Ghee! Works as a leave in, and styler. The best detangling product I have ever used!
Yes the butter is everything!! Oh and yes you're right that product is awesome! I've never used it as a leave in or styler but it is one of the best detanglers ever!
Kylasbibi is it really that good cuz I have type 4 & can't find a good leave in or butter for the life of me lol. The only thing that keeps in moisture for me is grease.
doThatGWalk I love the CTDG and I also love the moranga tree conditioning ghee. I have used the CTDG when my hair has been extra dry and it bounces back. Don’t use a lot or it will be too greasy. I use the MTCG after I have washed my hair for a leave in. For me and my type 4 hair there are 2 product lines I will always have. 1 is Qhemet Biologics. I love everything except their shampoo. It strips my hair. The other product line is Kinky Tresses. Their shampoo, hair milk(leave in) and coconut mango hair butter are fantastic.
The burdock cream and aethiopika (so) combo is the only thing that moisturizes my hair. I wish they had a gel for wash n go’s . My hair is definitely healthy!
traca williamson I loved the burdock and have been using it for a year. I finally bought the ghee and castor pomade this month. The pomade was not what I expected but it works for twists. I am thinking of try the conditioner next. They don’t ship to Canada so I can’t try samples 😤.
Yes! I only found out about Qhemit Biologics last year and bought the Aethiopika & the Heavy Cream on Black Friday and I couldn't believe how moisturized my 4c hair remained soft with hardly any shrinkage.
Because of you I tried this brand about a couple years ago and been a repeat customer every since... I also get their emails so whenever they have a sale I be on it. I love their products thank you for your honest reviews sis.
Aww that's fantastic! Thank you for trusting me. I'm happy you love their products. I'm on the list too. As pricey as they are I need to catch a sale. Thank you for all of your support. Much love to you!
Been natural for about 3 yrs now. I watched so many videos about this product and that product that I quickly because a severe product junkie. I'm slowly discovering my hair only needs a few products and QB is probably it. I've given away all my gently used, or never used, products I had sitting around collecting dust because I didn't know when (or if) I'd ever use them. I DO use, and love, the Coco Detangling Ghee, the Amla & Olive Heavy Cream and the Olive and Honey Hydrating Balm. If I had to choose between the heavy cream and the hydrating balm I'd pick the heavy cream. The balm is nice but sometimes it just feels sticky to me. Maybe I'm heavy-handed, idk. I did buy that Castor and Amla Pomade but have not used it yet...but I'm not giving that one away :)
This product here! I can't say enough about it! After 1 jar I ran back online and bought 2 more of the qhemet logistics Amla olive oil heavy cream. Hands down. No other product moisturize my new growth or detangles like this product. The Darcy botanical lemon grass transition cream was my favorite but they have since discontinue it. And to be honest it works better, so it worked out for the good. I know everyone is going to say it's way too expensive but It's worth every penny. And I have to buy every jar off the shelve, I will.
QB's Burdock Root Butter Creme has been my staple product for years. During the winter I add the Castor & Moringa Oil to my ends. The QB BRBC also plays well with lots of other products (gels) if needed.
That's an excellent product too. I think I will use it in the summer time. I have to try the Castor & Moringa solely for my ends and see how it works out. Thank you for your feedback sis
I would absolutely use that pomade on my edges/hairline only because the product is costly. However, Amla oil is expensive, so it would be worth it. The product's role is to nourish, so no hold expected.
Love this line! Nothing softens (aka melts) my hair the way these products do. Funny enough, the twisting butter softens my hair so much that I always end up little to no definition from my twist outs! That's a good problem that I'll take tho :)
Yes girl, same thing happens to me sometimes lol what I do now is apply the butter first on damp hair, then follow up with the rest of the products. But hey, you're right, softness is a good problem to have! lol Thanks for sharing!
I’ve been interested in this brand for a while, I keep a very minimal hair routine - Dr. Bronner’s, ACV, Camille Rose cream, castor/coconut oil so I spend carefully. I think I’ll start with the butter since I already have a moisturizer that I live.
You got me on this brand when you first mentioned the heavy cream in one of your videos. I found a stockist in London but brought a sample size size to try. They have been out of stock since. I’ve since purchased the Obia as you mentioned it was an a great alternative (still haven’t used it but I’m waiting for the winter to finally get it on my hair). Your the only UA-camr who I listen to when it comes to hair care products recommendations. I haven’t tried one yet that you’ve recommended that hasn’t worked. My only problem is finding stockists in the U.K. I don’t always want to pay for shipping and have to wait for the delivery.
Girl did you know you are the one who introduced me to these products. The aethiopika butter is always in my stash I wanted to buy the serum and the castor pomade but I changed my mind has i was saying I don't think it's necessary. I mostly use the burdock root instead of the amla and heavy cream has i have fine strands.
Ghana Goddess. I apply only a little to each section after I use her leave in and twist away. I really like it more than gels. I've had my mini twist in for a week and they are still holding up😊😊😊
PackofDiscos hello I like the twisting butter. It's easy to go on and give great shine and a smooth finish. I barely have fly aways in my twist. Here is my routine I use their leave in after washing my hair then I use the twisting butter then there new pomade and twist my hair. I leave my twist in for two weeks. I moisturize like five days later either with the heavy cream only a little because it gives great moisture I also spirits water in my hair. Overall I love these products. Hope this helps 😊
Ghana Goddess I just use it as a sealant for my edges especially when wearing wigs to prevent friction. I also have the tea tree & lavender pomade and use that one more on my scalp.
actually beauty by zara has just launched this line! however they cost an arm and a leg! damn! cant make my mind up on whether to spend a small fortune on yet another hair brand! recovering Product junkie! Jesus help me.
Dainty Mammy yea I just saw it, am a fellow product junkie as well . I will probably get them on Black Friday. They are expensive as a Camille rose or Mane Choice is bad but not too bad lol
You can try the mielle protein free conditioner from the mongongo line.I have very thirsty high porosity hair and it works wonders.I will have to make sure and do my protein treatments though because all of my products are moisture based.
❤Thanks so much for the review! I have been eyeing this brand for awhile & I am itching to give it a try! I just have a few more products that I need to get through first, then shopping I go! 🛍...Trying to work on my PJ ways. ☺ I'm particularly interested in the Alma Heavy Cream. However, how do you feel about the Burdoc Root? Tried?
You're welcome sis, thank you for watching. Yes, it's always best to get through what you have first. And the Amla cream is holy grail!! I like the Root cream too but not nearly as much. I've never repurchased it. Here's a video where I reviewed it: ua-cam.com/video/2B8n5EvVW8M/v-deo.html
Thanks for the review. "Just enough hold to contain a small curl". So that would be a light hold then? Do you think that it would be good for twist outs?
344tw They used to be here for years at Curl Clinic, but when the EU cosmetic laws came in, they never came back for sale here. I don't think they ship to the UK for that reason. Yes!!! It detangles anything! That and Soultanicals knot proof hair glide 🙌🏾🔥
this is the only brand I have used for roughly 3-4 years. There is no other for type 4 hair IMO
Same here!
Wow, has your hair been thriving?? Yes if a person hasn't used this and has type 4 hair they are really missing out!

Qhemet and Bekura. All I ever need after all these years of product junkieism.

Yes girl it's the truth. You have to give it a shot

Gillian Nichole Burdick is my staple took me forever to try it since I didn't like the alma heavy cream😀
Annmarie busu
Me too! The amla was too heavy & greasy on my hair so I tried the lighter QB BR butter instead & ❤it.
Ghana Goddess
👍I found, after way too much trial & error, that my hair prefers the layering of lighter products ☺
I would absolutely use that pomade on my edges/hairline only because the product is costly. However, Amla oil is expensive, so it would be worth it. The product's role is to nourish, so no hold expected.
The Alma & olive oil heavy cream is the best product I’ve ever used on my high porosity type 4 hair. A permanent staple for me!
It's the besttttttt product I have ever come across for 4c hair!
Love this line! Nothing softens (aka melts) my hair the way these products do. Funny enough, the twisting butter softens my hair so much that I always end up little to no definition from my twist outs! That's a good problem that I'll take tho :)

I didn't know about that oil use for both African and Indian hair. Now I have a name. Cool !
Wow thank you, I love how informative this was. Straight to the point but descriptive. New sub!!!! Stay Beautiful :)
You look so pretty! I love this look on you! Healthy, lush and polished 💕
Aww thank you so much sis! Very sweet
*Love* your look here, Michelle. Stunning. Those look like Toni Daley earrings you're rocking.
Thank you so much sugar!! No they aren't lol but it seems like she and I have a lot in common
So glad I found this brand. The pomade and ghee work so well!
This brand is everything 🙌🏾🔥
Yes it is!
Yes, this product review is everything!
lol than you so much sis!!
I tried this product for the first time today and I love how soft it made my hair after one time use

Milissa Richards her new product is good. I don't use it for sticking down the hair. I get great definition for days!!!!!! I love this product!!!!
How do you use it? Twist outs?
Yes I agree, the burdock cream is much better for fine strands. The detangling ghee is great too as a detangler and leave in. Much love to you!
Yes twist outs
Great info thank you I'm going to try the products.
I’ve been wanting to try this brand for a looooong time, but I’ve been hesitant to try. Thanks for the review!
You're welcome love. Maybe start with the same sizes first so there's not a huge commitment.
Hey sis, your hair looks good and it's growing.
This is the best ever! Amazing results!
Yess!!! Thanks for watching love!
I just tried the pomade this week as my sealant, and I love it. This is now my 4th staple product from them.
I absolutely love the pomade!!!!! Gives me great definition soft texture and shine. Love love love. Will be ordering more!!!!😊 Great review

Ghana Goddess I just use it as a sealant for my edges especially when wearing wigs to prevent friction. I also have the tea tree & lavender pomade and use that one more on my scalp.
This is the ONLY line of products that adds the moisture post wash day. I could kick myself for not re-uping the Heavy Cream during their recent sale.
Yes girl, the moisture lasts at least 4 days straight for me sometimes up to 6 days. Hopefully they will have another sale soon. Much love
Great video! Thanks for the insight on a new produce I am conceding.
Oh my goodness!!!! You are gorgeous
Always wanted to try them I just can’t find them here in England, your hair is looking good ❤️the trim/cut gave you a nice shape
Yeah it's too bad they don't sell it there. They used to in the past. And thank you girl, yeah I'm so happy that I got it cut!

Their products do nothing for my hair and the heavy cream smells like plain bread 😂
I might try that pomade though it looks very moisturizing
I tried the pomade and it was far too greasy and sticky. So what they are saying above is absolutely correct. I can see this being ideal for 4c.
The products smell offensive and is to thick for my hair. Qhemet doesn’t do return or exchanges. I wish I would have known before ordering
Leah Davis Smells are subjective. I don’t find them offensive at all. Overall great products. Dry hair? Try them.
