That was so cute when you said ''sayang''! Mrs. Kim, I hope you're feeling much better now. Tinola is easy to cook, you can try cooking it not just when you're sick but also when the weather is cool such as during rainy days. Remember, lots of ginger is what makes it yummier. Take care, wonderful Kim Family. Thanks for taking us with you to this wonderful place. Looking forward to your would-be adventures once you're settled somewhere in Luzon. :)
The veggie you thought was papaya is chaote
yes, lots of ginger and lots malungay. If no malungay I use spinach [here in the states]. 😁
Tinola fusion that has veggies for nilaga.
Saute garlic ginger onion, water salt and pepper. Native chicke if available , Papaya, you can have leaves of chili or malunggay and dont forget lemon grass and voila ! Tinolang manok😊

Have fun exploring the philippines. Wonderful family.
#Summertime is the best
The important ingredient of tinola is ginger. So the soup taste is more of ginger. That is why it is good for cough and colds.
Tinola is good it has papaya and malunggay
U are right thats green papaya in chicken tinola

Love your videos. Great intro! 🫶🏻
Usual tinola recipe is Chicken, Unripe Papaya fruit, Malunggay leaves, lemongrass, usual aromatics like ginger/galangal, onions and garlic.
You can also use moringa or malunggay leaves. Not only delicious but It's more healthier ! Moringa is superfood! Btw..I was there at that resort last month..and below it is where the late governor of Negros was ambushed. Did you check out the place?
Tinakot mo pa sila. Good vibes lang sabihin mo, wag bad vibes. Baka matakot pa sila
@@joyowon3713 nibalik na sila sa Dumaguete oy. Wala na sila didto
" MY FAMILY REALLY LIKE TO EAT THIS TINOLANG MANOK MOST OF THE TIME " IT IS VERY DELICIOUS AND IT IS CATEGORILY AS A HERBAL MENU BECAUSE OF THE INGREDIENTS SPECIALLY THE GINGER "

Enjoy the tinola... It's easy to cook.. you can do it.
Hey Nuna..!! Your delicious samgyetang in Korea reminds me of that tinola.. 😅😅😅❤❤❤
0:50 thats not banana flower, its the heart of the banana. we call it in tagalog as "PUSO NG SAGING"
5:48 thats "SINAMPALOKANG MANOK" not "TINOLA" the chicken version of sinigang. i love that.
Wrong.
Nice views. That hot soup will loosen your cold if you still have one even in the hot weather. Tinola has papaya.
The church location is so romantic , its good in wedding venue. The scenery is awesome .
Try to eat jackfruit!
Its super delicious!
Tony from Sweden!
Cute Oliver ..he's becoming Filipino in eating tinola.with rice😊
That is another version of tinola. Nilagang manok with cabbage etc
Tinola ingridients have malunggay leaves or ĺeaves of sili. And papaya or sayote . Cook together with oil, garlic, onion, ginger and black pepper
I’m glad you are enjoying Chicken Tinola. It’s also very easy to make and very healthy. Also, if you find the Chicken Tinola a bit bland, you can add a bit of Fish Sauce(Patis) to adjust the saltiness to your taste. In my family, we always eat Chicken Tinola with a banana on the side. We love the contrast of the Saltiness of the Chicken Tinola to the sweetness of the banana.I know it seems weird but it works together for some reason.
Must try the traditional tinola,
Its easy to cook and its good for the body.you just need this.
Chicken, sayote or green papaya, ginger put more, malungay leaves or chili leaves and put tanlad(lemon grass, optional.)
Thank you for appreciating our pinoy foods.😊
I like Korea
I'm also from Dumaguete, but I've never been to some of the places you went. I'm so jealous, hehehe. Anyways, have a safe trip to Korea and do comeback in Dumaguete whenever:>
I am from pamplona, glad you enjoyed there😊❤️
Malunggay is a lot of benefits in the body. You can make tea everyday.

Nice to see you eating healthy food . Eating too much fried foods is not good because of high in cholesterol . Next time when you guys go to restaurant ask the waiter or waitress what are good vegetable food as a side dish they can serve to you guys .
We like soup or sabaw cuz we like to mix alot of it with rice.
Watching from Houston, Texas... Good day everybody
Hello, that banana flower is actually the heart of the banana
Upay ira balay🇵🇭🇰🇷❤️🌹🇺🇲🇹🇭🇯🇵💐💐
A good chicken tinola for me is with a good amount of ginger and lemongrass,.it will make you feel better after and will get rid of cold and fever for sure.
i like the new fonts. good editing!
Tinola is like the filipino version of samgyetang (삼계탕) except we dont add ginseng. we usually add malunggay.
You've picked a beautiful location to visit. And the Tinola, like most other countries chicken soup (with a regional twist) is always good for a cold.
🍲 😀👌

Hello! New subscriber here and I am also from Dumaguete! I love you videos! May I ask what camera are you using for your vlogs?
Rice is almost if not, always accompanies soup or sabaw, or anything that can be a viand or ulam. Because we always eat with rice haha as you know. And that green thingy you asked in the video could be sayote or chayote- it’s what makes the classic tinola though its origins didn’t originally include chayote, but it’s become a staple so 🤷♀️
And tinola isn’t supposed to taste like sinigang ahahsh
if you know fish sauce, its usually paired with tinola.
I wonder if they seen Hana cho vids.
Tinola is good for colds, it has gingers.
I hope you try sinigang pork and sinampalokan manok
Pls.visit here in Boracay island ..i'm work here in spa ..massage therapist..
...that's not tinola it is more on sinigang coz i seen tomato that make it sour...tinola is not sour it is more in ginger taste coz it has ginger and malungay leaves or more original is chili leaves then papaya no cabbage ...
agree, and radish too.
💖
Sweet Pretty Lynn 😊
Nice to see you guys eating healthy food . Too much fried foods is no good because of high in cholesterol .Try some local vegetable food .
Thank you for letting me know ❤
In tinola the red one is tomato and the green one is papaya
❤❤❤🙏🇵🇭
I am sad that soon you are gonna leave negros..my hometown.but whenever you go we will still gonna support you.
The chicken in the tinola is thin because it is Philippines' native chicken. They are free range chickens which are healthier than the commercially produced ones.
Pour the tinola broth over the rice and mix them together
Tinola is Chicken Ginger Soup.
If the legs of the chicken are thin, assume it is a free-range native chicken.
Is that tinola or sinigang? Why does it have tomatoes?
Tinola ingredients:
chicken
garlic
lemon grass
ginger
unripe papaya(if not available, use sayote as substitute)
chili pepper leaves(if not available, use malunggay)
black pepper
chicken stock(if not available, use rice stock and chicken cube)
fish sauce
onion is optional
asa dagway ni dapit sa negros gwapa kaau view
SINIGANG WAS SOUR SOUP (BEST FOR SICK), TINOLA WAS NO SOUR BUT WITH PAPAYA AND NILAGA WAS NOT SOUR TOO BUT WITH POTATO❤❤ (IT TASTE SAME BECAUSE OF MAIN RESINIGANG WAS SOUR SOUP (BEST FOR SICK), TINOLA WAS NO SOUR BUT WITH PAPAYA AND NILAGA WAS NOT SOUR TOO BUT WITH POTATO❤❤ (IT TASTE SAME BECAUSE OF MAIN INGREDIENTS LIKE (
EITHER CHICKEN, FISH, PORK OR SHRIMP)
Where is that?
The tinola way of cooking in Visayas is different from Northern Luzon…
That Native chicken is way thin than high breeding chicken but taste way better than high bread,,that is good in Lemongrass Paoaya,Malonggay Ginger, spring Onions,,every filipino likes the most 😋 😋But how come the sabaw/soup is to much😂😂if u cook native chicken tinola just put enough water 😂
Your question is health food? Yes you heard it right
Chicken tinola tastes the same as samgyetang for me.
Tahooo sunbodo
Have they tried Arroz Caldo?
one of the easiest Phil soup to do just few ingredients there should be malunggay taste much better
Wow! tinolang manok..
The thin vegetable in the tinola could be string beans idk hahaha
That's not the kind of Tinola here in Luzon. That Tinola is bisayan recipe. There are some ingredients they added.
They served Chicken Sinigang. Chicken Tinola should not be sour and doesn't have tomatoes. 😅
Oliver is already bigboy 😮😮😮
Maybe it's not chicken tinola if it's sour and taste like "Sinigang"..Maybe it's the other one, "Sinampalukang Manok"? Chicken broth cooked with Tamarind?
Gud eve guys
That is not a tinola. I believe they serve an incorrect dish because their is also has a chicken sinigang. The original tinola is cook with papaya and dahon ng sili, sometimes it has malunggay.
