That's one good thing about fishing below my parents house is that I'm the only one fishing there and I can spread my lines out. The only problem is there are so many rocks that the lines get snagged really easy. I used to be able to fish there and not lose too many baits but now it seems like every time I cast it's snag city. Not a problem when I boat fish or fish out at the dam with a thousand others. I kinda wonde if they like picked a bunch of rocks out when they build these dams which I doubt I think I will start fishing next year with three way rigs with really light line to break off. I have an old can of bolts so I can lose a bolt rather than a lead weight though. They are from our old farm so at least thirty years old.

Yeah losing gear is rough, I use a lighter line so I just lose hooks instead of weights. But some times it will still pop off
Get a pair of pliers...much quicker release and much better for the fish..
I did but yeah I know!
