i got this skates today , ( beginner level skating but had a pair of just regular roller blades before these with the stopped) these are INCREDIBLE compared to the ones i had before. so smooth, and not i can turn way more easy (i think maybe high low system helps ?) 10/10 recommend. very smooth, and they are comfortable, just had to watch a vid on how to tie hockey roller skates proper
I bought my roller skates: Bauer RS Senior Roller Hockey Skates. But when I am using them, I can’t do a hockey stop. But when I am using them, I can’t do a hockey stop. The wheels are sticking on the floor, especially in the road. I can’t seem to stop. Do you think I need to change my wheels? Can this roller skates change the wheels or not? Please help me out. If so, which wheels are compatible to do a hockey stop on an asphalt road? The pre-build wheels on this roller skates are kinda like a rubber/silicone type, so they tend to stick on an asphalt road making me fall when I attempt to do a hockey stop. Even a T-stop sometimes I fall.
Bought a pair of Bauer RS Inline skates. They came with yellow wheels. I want to replace them with red wheels and need to know what kind are compatible with these skates and are best for hockey
Depends on what you are wanting to use them for? outdoor hockey? indoor hockey? what size are the current RS skates you have now? The RS also comes with a HI-LO chassis - meaning in a senior size you will need (2) 80mm wheels in the back, and (2) 76mm wheels in the front for them all to fit seamlessly. send us an email - sales@thehockeyshop.com if you have further questions! Thanks
@@thehockeyshop I figured all that out already. I wanted a separate pair of wheels for the skating rink indoors so I ordered 74A 80mm and 76mm 2 wheels each
I wear a size 9 in shoes, technically should be wearing a 8.5 but wear 9 because I like the extra room because I have wide and flat feet. Which of these would accommodate me better ? Also which size given that there’s no half sizes. Do I do a 7 or 8 ? Thank you in advance and love the videos !
bauer rs are similarly modelled to the bauer supreme line - supremes are meant for wider feet. i’d go for the rs and have them myself. i’m a men’s 7.5 shoe and i always round a little up for skates (i’m recommended 6 but usually get 7s) to avoid risk of uncomfortable rubbing along the sides of the feet. the rs also have hard wheels, so if you’re training outside they’re better for the terrain. if you’re playing inside you shouldn’t have to worry about it though
Hi jdarmody! Based on this information, our skate specialists suggest a size 8. Normally, we recommend sizing 1.5 to 2 sizes down from shoe size to skate size. This would bring you down to a size 7/7.5 skate, but since you like the extra room, a size 8 would be the safe bet! They also recommended the RSX for more comfort as the RS is a base level skate! Hope this helps.
Ok so I'm looking to order some bauer RSX, and I had a couple questions. So first thing, I'm a size 9 so if they fit 2 sizes below perfect shoe size should I get a size 7? And where is the best place I should order the skates from because I live in Florida

@@josephlogel7158 Yep that should be perfect! You need the soft wheels for indoors so you don't slip out while skating. I think you're all set!
Can you widen them at all with a heat gun ?
Hi there! Yes, you can - within reason. Otherwise, we do offer skate punching/stretching as well!

What do you think about the Bauer RS/RSX VS old Bauer XR400?
The quality of the skate is pretty similar. The good thing about the RS line is that they already come with outdoor wheels!

Yes, the perfect size would be a 7
are they heavy?
light as a feather!
Thanks for the information. I think I'm sold
How the heck do you stop if you're going for a skate around the neighborhood? LOL
That's what grass is for! 😂
Inline hockey stop or just use T stop or jump in grass XD
