That is a beautiful Village, Im a Portugueses and live 19 years in Spalding, now im in Oporto Portugal but i continue Love Spalding. Thanks for that vídeo . Big Hug.
We’re looking to move here from the new city of Milton Keynes, can’t wait for some fresh air and some freedom for our children it’s a bit to rough in the city to allow our children the freedoms we had as kids, but I think a small place like spalding is the perfect mix
Hi Kevin! Notice you did this three years ago, but credit to you, it was really enjoyable being a passenger listening to all your descriptions of the town, and taking us round the market,, then on to Pinchbeck.l I liked the older parts, but how sad the new homes didn’t even have a front garden! Such a shame people can’t grow a few flowers etc, soften the look of the buildings and encourage wildlife! Does anyone remember the song about “ little boxes, all made out of tikky tacky and they all look just the same “. Google it and you will understand what I mean lol. Years ago at this time of year, my father who had a market garden and floristry business used to come to the bulb auctions held at Wisbech and Spalding. They also used all the flower heads to make the most beautiful floral floats to each represent something representing a charity or other worthy causes. Pretty girls on the floats had buckets to hopefully get people to put money into, the floats were beautiful and s lot of work, I don’t know if they still do all this today. Shame if not. Thankyou Kevin, you didn’t sound a local boy, lol, but it was good off you to make the time and effort to do a trip. Round Spalding for us all to enjoy. Wherever you are now, I hope you are in good health and still making such interesting videos to take us homebodies and show us other parts of our Country! Bless you and your family, every good wish, Helen C. 🙋♀️😘👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🐝🦋🦉💕
