The woman that crowned Catriona, was the previous Miss Universe Demi Leigh Peters-Tebow. Who is now married to Tim Tebow who is an American NFL and Baseball player who was born in the Philippines and actually built a hospital in Davao, a city in the regions of Mindanao. So there you go.

I watched Catriona's Full Performance So Many Times, more than 10 I guess but Until now, after years of being Crowned, Catriona and her performance still give chills, she still make me smile and proud. What made Catriona Gray a very powerful Miss Universe candidate, even through watching her from the screen, is that she doesn't wish for the crown. She enjoys and gives her best for each portion she gets into. No stress, just content with whatever is given, but at the same time feeling it, giving your best to it. That's the beauty of not always being the winner in life. It humbles you. It gives you content and the confidence that even if you lose, you won't regret a thing because it has happened to you a lot in life and that you've learned to anticipate it with such genuine positivity. So she wasn't scared of not being the winner, she made every moment memorable to her, savouring it, as if it's her last, enjoying every walk, every smile, every eye contact, every answer, everything. Plus, that passion for children, her creativity, is what added so much spice to her that no one. NO ONE can ever compare. And this is one of the sad parts. The next representatives after her somehow feel pressure and loose confidence. That, I think is what happened to Rabiya. She was always crying, saying sorry for her performace during her live streams after each competition. This is just my opinion.

Rewatching it again and I just want to tell you my thoughts last 2018 the moment I learned Catriona Gray will represent the Philippines I just knew she will win Miss Universe so I'm not that surprised unlike Pia Wurtzbach winning moment because I knew Catriona and followed her journey at Miss World and I was mesmerized by her when she didn't win Miss World I had a lot of questions in my head but then I'm glad she didn't because she was destined to wear the Universe crown.
