All the screaming Optimus did as Primus gave him the power to fight Unicron had to have hurt Gary Chalks throat. One change I would have done was put the Unicron fight near the end of the series, and do a couple episodes of Optimus dealing with Unicron residing in his mind, and finish it with Optimus battling Unicron in his own mind. Just as Unicron claims victory, Primus intervenes by ejecting Unicron from Optimuses mind, right into the super Energon, and forms the sun for the new planets made by Alpha Q. I collected most of the transformers from this show and from the next series, Cybertron.

The red glowing orb in Prime's chest is in fact the "Spark of Combination". It gave Optimus the ability to bestow the capability of combining to his fellow Autobots. Armada had a G1 Sideswipe-inspired character called Wheeljack, while the name Sideswipe was given to a character with the worst Armada toy design. When Energon came about, the G1 Wheeljack-inspired character thusly became Downshift. In Japan's SuperLink, he is called Wheeljack... while the US English dub mixed up Downshift with Cliffjumper fairly regularly. Edit: Prime's chest doo-hickey is akin to the "Enigma of Combination".
