My favorite one is Mikey being told he has ADHD, I could only watch 3 seasons of the 2012 series because it's what's available on Paramount+ but I needed something to watch once I finished watching Rise because I really needed more & so sad it was brutally murdered before it even had a chance. In Rise, Donnie is my clear favorite, no contest, so when watching 2012, I was disappointed in him, I like Rob Paulsen a lot but 2012 Donnie having the love interest in April sets him back so much but Mikey peaked my interest. I wasn't on board with him at first because I loved how sweet & wholesome Rise's Mikey is while in the beginning of 2012, Mikey felt like he was dumb but then I realized that he's actually a genius, the jokes on him being a genius were actually accurate. His ADHD ends up masking it but when they need him to pull through, he does. Also, it made him immune to the thing the Triceratons used on him given there's just too many thoughts happening at once, all they could collect was pizza which was so entertaining, it's like a firewall in a sense. I did pick up on him having ADHD early enough, I swear part of my viewing of the series was just me studying Mikey's behavior & taking mental notes on him & I know a lot more about him than I wish to ever know. Donnie did NOT activate safe search on Mikey's t-phone, I'll just leave it at that.
Looking forward to seeing season 4, I bought the DVDs & waiting for them to arrive so I still have more to study when it comes to Mikey. I really didn't want to throw in money at it but if they're not giving season 4 yet, something that's been out for years, it's all I could do, I even considered sailing the 7 seas to watch it but the sites I use to use won't let me in due to me using adblock & the ads on those sites cause my anti virus to go crazy so legal way it is. Whenever I can actually finish watching the series, I'll be in a place where I can actively look at fan stuff & see what I've missed about Mikey, I've been holding off because spoilers. I can tell I'm not the only person that picked up on his ADHD but like, they make it too obvious, I'm not a professional but for Mikey, you hardly need to be in order to see it.
His thoughts are just such a mess, he tends to focus on the ones that best go with his interests which is something I can heavily relate to, I'm always thinking a million things at once but I'm typically picking at the ones that interest me. His intelligence makes a lot of sense given he is curious & looks at stuff & asks questions like when he was bothering Donnie while he was working, he kept messing with the stuff on the shelf & asking about it. He is absorbing the information he gathers, just I don't know if he knows that he is. When he needs to access that information, he's able to but it needs to be either an emergency or he's got to be motivated & want to. He successfully sneaked up on Leo when he wanted to help with the brain worm thing because he can do it & since he had a motivator, it pushed him to it & I admire that Leo let him come along when he realized that Mikey can be of use.
I could gush all day on it, 2012 Mikey is overall my second favorite turtle, nobody beats 2018 Donnie. So much enjoy how Mikey is written & how his brothers work off of him too, they understandably get annoyed with him but they also recognize when he knows what he's doing & willingly work with it like in Dimension X, yes, Mikey was in there longer due to how time works but instead of falling victim to the weird & different things, he adapted to the environment & knew what to do & his brothers let him lead the way. Can't wait to see more of him when those DVDs arrive, been watching the 2003 series while waiting & that Mikey is like my least favorite of those turtles, suppose it's because I expect better from the character given both 2012 & Rise did great versions of him.

Ok so 2012 raph hates cockroaches right well I hate spiders to a similar degree. Apparently my sister walked into me and my moms shared bathroom saw a spider in the shower and though velvet (don’t wanna share my real name) is gonna love that And walked away. A few hours later I go to shower and I see him. Now I’m thinking I’m gonna handle this like the almost adult I am so I grab toilet paper and scoop him out. I thought he would be crushed on the way out but he wasent. So the only thing between me and this terrifying creature is is a handful of toilet paper. Cue the high pitched shrieks of its still alive as I finish the job. and remember me and my mom share a bathroom so she could hear all this happening from her room and I had to go explain the whole situation to her so she didn’t think I was dying
