I'm loving the hell out of these peaceful, bonding episodes for the cast. Each one makes the characters grow on me more and more, and it's so damn good to have Ruijerd back. Interactions with Aisha and Norn will definitely be good fun too.
Last but not least, as usual Sylphie and Rudeus are absolutely adorable together.
The end credit song is sung by nanahoshi, thats the song she was singing at the party that was cut out of the anime btw
Rudeus had some bad flashbacks seeing that knife Sylphie found on Nanahoshi.
this episode is my favorite episode in whole Mushoku Tensei so far cause I read the Web Novel, and this is hit different when this get adapted, I know well how Nanahoshi struggles in this Isekai.
And that Ending song too, man i really cried when Nanahoshi sing that song the lyrics fits well

This song was out on 2005
So we can argue that Nanahoshi and Rudeus got transported and reincarnated around 2005-2007
Disappointed she wasn't singing "Gandhara" but getting the rights for that might have been more difficult.
If we look at the date of the truck accident as being "current year" by the time of publication, in the anime continuity the accident was in 2021; for the manga and light novel it was 2014. Web novel has it at November 21 2012.
So the song must've been something her parents had liked to listen to.
