Now this, it's what a true fantasy Isekai game should be like. It's like the devs took all, if not most of the popular gacha games out there and rolled it into one. My money has damn been well spent on Azur Lane.
You will have your usual comparators but just like you cant compare the gameplay of Pokemon and Palworld, i dont think you can compare this to either of them. For now it seems closer to Wuthering Waves or an older Tales Of title. In the end I am just gonna wait for Manjuu to show us more, because i am all for this.
It can't really replace palworld tho. It's a gacha game after all. In palword you can go from fighting with you fist to fighting with a bow to fighting with a gun in a matter of hours, but gacha game does not progress like this. In any gacha game, you will do a not of repetitive grind without seeing any change in the basic gameplay. At the end it will just play very much like Genshin with a pet system, which means one more thing to grind. It does have a lot more sexually attractive characters you can control. That is the advantage of being a gacha game, but most people who aren't that into waifu collecting will find palworld to be a fundamentally better game, precisely because palworld would give you undiluted experience for 50 hours and once you're done, it doesn't overstay its welcome by trying to tether you down with FOMO design.
How i wish this was full price game and it includes easy in-game gacha and buyable gacha for those who wants to spend. I'm kinda tired of extremely stingy gacha rates, they aren't good for my sanity.
It's good you recognise your own limitations. I wish you the strength to enjoy free to play games without feeling pressured into micro(macro?)transactions. As undesirable this business model can be for some people, it's the most sure way to have devs support their game for years to come as it evolves together with its userbase, rather than hoping a finished game gets the proper support down the line. If every ambitious title could have Terraria-level devs behind them, we wouldn't need gacha at all. But that simply isn't feasible.😊
I'll keep an eye on this but I can only play so many Gachas so we'll see what happens. Unfortunately(for the companies not the gamers) there's lots of competition for open world gacha games these days. Looks decent
Please for the love of god let us make our home/base and let us farm, Palworld really woke the child side of me that wants more of those types of games, it's not always gacha or end-game-kind of things like sweaty gamers hard mode enemies, I want some calming RPG where we just do whatever we wanted and have some kind of freedom in what we're doing, this seem promising.

@@JoomBow zzz only features Japanese-style alleyways and can only trigger mini-games. The battles involve playing with a sole solution by moving across tiles, which is extremely boring. Moreover, its actual gameplay visuals give the impression of a regression for miHoYo, no longer captivating.
