I honestly think the sounds are one of the best parts, especially the loud *"KA-CHUNK"* some of the relays make. It's like the plane is some big slumbering giant you're attempting to wake up.
Of 35 years of flying from Dh82 Tiger Moths bi plane to A300-600 Airbus this was my favourite aircraft. The "pocket Rocket" as we called it (I was a Training Capt on them for 5 years) Try 10,000 ft at 10 miles strait in & you can be spooled up by 1,500 ft. Fun gliding down flight idle from 30 miles 10,000 ft upwind runway 5,000ft - 3,000ft abeam threshold turning on to final 1,500 ft to spool up to 80%.
Wow - incredible! I used to fly on the the Empire airlines F28's between BDL and JFK & Syracuse in the mid 80's. As i recall Piedmont bought Empire in '86 and repainted.
@@V1Sim That's great - I'll be sure to watch. Empire Airlines (based in Utica NY) was probably the 1st airline in the US to fly this regional jet from what I remember. They purchased them new directly from the factory & deployed them throughout the Northeast & Mid Atlantic. Piedmont actually established a hub in Syracuse in the later 80's with F28 operations very common there.
Also - Being a non pilot(unfortunately) this sim seems to really bring this jet to life for me and gives me great insight into flying this airliner. Really appreciate this production! Looking forward to your stream of the upcoming MSFS 757.
Lol. I have been sooo waiting for this. I grew up flying on these, they were so loud they would rattle the light diffusers in the ceiling. I cannot convey how much I loved this plane. Thankyou sir for doing it justice with this video, even the clouds of black exhaust smoke are there. These machines were the heartbeat of outback Western Australia for your upcoming tour. We all owe Rolls Royce a debt of gratitude for these engines.
Ive flown this airplane 3 days in a row now and still want to start a new flight every time the current one ends. It is so well done, Justflight has knocked it out of the park again. Thanks for watching! Cant wait to fly down under!
@@billolgaau Hello Bill. Were you flying for East West back in the day and if so didn't they operate the 3000 series? One more question... How many did EW have in their fleet? I flew regularly on the MMA aircraft. All 1000 series.
I always like seeing new planes on flight sim streamers' pages, and while the Fokker F28 is no exception, I don't think I'm feeling it just yet. Maybe it's because this is a pre-release stream, and when I watch the launch stream, I'll finally get it. I like seeing the T-tails because they're so rare nowadays.
I actually flew on a Piedmont F-28 once. Don't remember where other than it was in the eastern half of the country. I like the way the passengers are marching to the plane with military precision. They look like the Thunderbird crews out on the ramp. A perfectly executed left face maneuver to go up the stairs.
maybe if you watch it a few more times youll venture out yourself ;) Its a totally different level of satisfaction when you complete flights in these old birds. Thanks for watchin!
Overall great plane and love the idea. I have it on Xbox and it’s rubbish, the EBF doesn’t show screens just blank, when on runway and taking off it won’t lift just keeps going. When can get it up it just crashes. Needs a massive update huge waste of money and a disappointing outcome

Fantastic!! Ill be flying to Syracuse today in the bird. Bringing history to life!

Well done mate ! Wednesday can't come soon enough :)
Thank you! Shes a handful but so worth it. You will love it!

@@V1Sim as a Training Capt on the F28 I'm loving it too, but haven't got to my big test of 10,000 ft / 10 miles strait in yet. 😎

haha now I will never un-see the militant passengers lol Thank you
Neat plane but a little to hands on for me. Enjoying watching it in action.

The idle & the spoolup almost sounds like a Gulfstream GII/GIII jet despite the higher pitch at full throttle etc.
Similar engines, turbo-jet with no bypass
@@V1Sim Actually it's a very low bypass turbofan, but still very loud
Next stream has to be a KLM cityhopper since Fokker was a Dutch manufacturer ❤
Loved the preview and great flight. Davecat can blow it out his ass but I guess you have to deal with a-holes from time to time.
Its part of the gig ;) Thanks for watching!
Charlotte to Knoxville, a flight I do a good bit!
Sweet!!

Great video. Is it possible you set the pressurisation altitude to 2000 and not 20000 feet. A cabin pressure of 1000 feet seems rather low.
Id have to re-watch, very possible I made an error lol
hi v1 does the passengers loading come with the jet or is that a download great stream skypilot
That was GSX (Ground services) a separate ad on. Thanks!
@@V1Sim thanks alwas awsome streams🛩🛩
Seems kinda twitchy? Is that how it handles in the real world?
Will it be released on Xbox on Wednesday or will that come later?
That comes at a later date. Thanks for your interest.
@@justflight thanks👍
