Before it was the Topo Chico prison and after 76 years of operations it was permanently closed on October 1, 2019, to turn it into a park.

Si, la verdad quedo muy bonito y aún algunas áreas siguen en construcción. Lo bueno es que está bajo la operación del parque Fundidora lo que garantiza que estará en mantenimiento más constantemente. 👍

Se ve muy bien el parque ,solo le falta mas vegetaciin , tienen mucho espacio para colocar masnarbooes

Wow!! The prison was used until a few years ago?! What surprised me the most is that it's very close from the big street and the prisoners still could see the beautiful Cerro de la Silla from their windows!!😮 Hope this stunning view calmed them and got them repent their sins... By the way, I coudn't see any glass windows behind the bars on the building. Was it used like that? Or maybe I just missed them?! Anyways, good to see it's used by so many people enjoying their own activities now😊 Thank you very much for tor sharing this very interesting video again, my friends!!👏🏻

Yes, the truth is that this prison was very dangerous and the nearby neighbors did not have peace, one of the reasons why it was closed.And these people were transferred to other places. Of what was this prison, only that building remains. The truth is that the prisoners had a privileged view, even though it was a depressing place . These windows never had glass, I think so they wouldn't destroy them. Now they are just pure ruins. ironically the park is called Libertad ( Liberty ) . It's something from the sad history of the state, but now it has something nice, it's good 😀. I send you many affectionate greetings my friend. We are writing to each other.
@@Monterrey4K Oh it's sad to hear that happened to the neighbors... The prisoners didn't have glass windows because of that, which means they must've been very dangerous even though they were in a prison... Una fábrica de fundición ahora es un parque, un convento ahora es un morados tipo parque, ahora el juego del calamar lo convertimos en un parque , que seguirá para hacer más áreas verdes😊
Hola Miguel, muchas gracias por dejarnos tu comentario. Si, la verdad hay muchos lugares que se han regenerado, está el nuevo parque central del distrito TEC y el parque el Capitán en San Pedro. Otro tipo de proyectos que no son parques: Peñoles, la ampliación de la avenida Ruiz Cortines, Ladrillera, Centrika y entre otras muchas más.
Tenemos un video nuevo cada semana.

Aquellos que dicen: "Falta vegetación" aver quiten árboles ya maduros y plantenlos ahí! No sé puede!!, Todo es un proceso, tranquilos...
Así es, hay que darle tiempo para que esos árboles crezcan y poco a poco va a cambiar el panorama.👍
Los ponen separados para que puedan tener espacio para crecer bien.

ya solo falta que le den una manita de gato a los alrededores del parque,, hay un posesionario por el oxo que hasta esta invadiendo la calle y "afea" la zona, el municipio deberia de retirarlo de ahi.
