They planned so much stuff ahead of time! RM’s Album drops Friday. We’ve been teased with another Jimin project, a travel vlog with Jimin and JK, and more. Jin will be back in less than a month!
Namjoon (RM) has always spoken a lot about his public persona (RM), the leader of BTS, and Namjoon, the studious poet and rapper who loves museums, art, and nature. He has expressed a desire to find a healthy balance to live his life comfortably. I think he has placed a lot of pressure on himself to be all the things that people need him to be. When Namjoon and the woman walk through the doorway, it's like they're leaving a maze they didn't even know they were trapped in. My hopeful take on this song is that he his finding balance and peace in his life. We have a documentary coming up that he filmed with Jimin, and that may prove all my words wrong, lol.
I think if you haven't listened to it yet RM's Wildflower is super emotional, integrates his rap and lyrical genius into a track with melodic anchoring and features a stunning vocalist Youjeen on the choruses and ad libs. I think it is a masterpiece.
RM doesn’t have a genre, he sings quite a bit in his album indigo, he really like indie music. We all first met him as “rap monster” but as he said himself he outgrew the name, he also begin exploring his passion for different genres, Indigo has 10 tracks all different genres. He still goes by RM, but now that name means “real me”. His new album is shaping up to be very indie, but he has a great rap feature Little Simz on the track “Domodachi”. The MV for the tittle track “Lost!” Is dropping this Friday along with the rest of the album. Pls react to it as well 😊
To note: 1. Jin will be home in less than 1 month. 2. Jhope will be home in October. 3. All other members will be home in 2025, Suga being last. 4. Any new releases you see till then, were all done Pre Military Enlistment.
I really think you would love ‘Moonchild’ or ‘Seoul’ (this one has an MV but the other one doesn’t) off of RM’s Mono mixtape from 2018. Even more singing from him, that whole mixtape is a vibe and a lot of us think this new album will be like a pt.2 of Mono! We always love to hear his vocals. All of the rapline have songs where they show off their vocal talent, but since you’re still doing Agust D as of right now, I recommend ‘People Pt.2 ft IU’ MV off of his D-Day album if it isn’t already on your list. It’s more mellow and a vibe for sure. 💜
You’re in for a treat. His 11 track- album drops on May 24th, it’s an alternative-album. His tracklist pulls you in before you even hear one single track. Come back to me is the last song on the album and he has 2 great artists featured in it. RM worked with balming tiger again, he already participated in one of their projects (sexy nukim), you should definitely check it out, and don’t miss the premiere of the new album title track LOST!.
He golden rule of BTS is we never know what to expect. A single member can show such depth and diversity and across the seven it’s ridiculous. Rm is just artsy creative and loves storytelling. I can’t wait to hear the whole album this week. He has Little Simz (her song Venom is a favorite of mine) I especially can’t wait for. It’s also common to finish watching their MVs confused or overwhelmed by how deep or unexpected it is. 💜💜
Jin is coming back in June 12 so be ready. Anyway, I love RM and BTS's music. He makes rap, vocals, etc. We always get something different everytime. this is what I love but anyway. Great reaction, loved it.
I think it's about him being trapped with all the expectations of things that people think of him. From birth etc, and he can't escape. The lady is his anima, I have seen some other theories that she is his creativity. But it's a part of him and when they meet and make peace, he can call into all the expectations but when he's ready he can finally leave and do what he wants, be himself. Maybe. Lol
I really enjoy watching your perspective on the mvs, but especially the lyrics & how affecting they are. I instantly loved this song when he sang it during Suga's D-Day concert in Seoul, If I remember correctly. 💜💜💜
Yay teej! I love you fell into your channel rabbit hole new sub here 🙋🏻♀️ thanks for showing love to our boys 🥰 my little one loves this too she said it's such a good song🥹
You should really take a listen to his Album Indigo. I swear of you stream it, I'll join in. RM is known as the philospher who raps. None of his music will ever sound the same. His new Album: Right Place, Wrong Person drops this Friday - May 24th In the meantimez you should really react to RM-Wildflower as soon as possible. You won't be disappointed
There is a live of this song, RM at the time said it was not finished but wanted to sing for Army. It was at Suga final concert. Did you notice his clothes changing as well. As others have mentioned BTS has been so amazing about the amount of work they put in so that Army would have content till they returned. Each one has done something different. RM: Actually put out an album Indigo and was supposed to enlist with J Hope in April of 2023, but this album came to him and so he put off enlistment till Dec 2023. He was working around the clock to get it done. If you notice his hair has the buzz cut. When Army first saw it, I think before August we all thought he would be leaving soon. He assured Army it would still be a little while. At that time we new Suga would be soon. Either August or Sept. and it turned out to be Sept. Little known info: they spread out their going in ( a year total) so they could finish work and so it would not be 1 1/2 years with out any of them. Not sure what part the military played, what rules if any they had. Jin was only able to get out one song. Plus, prerecorded little videos around holidays. Suga filmed numerous Suchwita finishing up right before he enlisted in Sept. and they went till Jan or Feb. Also he toured with his conceert D day April till June then the finale in August. Then He had his concert in Theaters and his concert is about to come out to buy. J Hope did Hope on the Street you can find on Amazon Jimin, V and JK came out with albums. Little mini concerts. ( except Jimin.) and more. No telling what else will come out. We are about to get a treat with their anniv in June /FESTA and Jin coming home. I also noticed Now You See Me. playing the background. yes, both are good movies. Blessings
This MV is a nod to the book The Midnight Library (he read it on the BTS show In The Soop). The plot of the novel follows a woman who tries to kill herself. While she’s unconscious she’s taken to “The Midnight Library” where she meets “The Librarian”. The Librarian takes her to different lives she would have lived if she made different choices. The woman realises that she’s not any happier in any of these alternate realities. She’s still unhappy. She learns that her happiness must come from within. In the video, Namjoon revisits his relationships with people. His friends (party), his lovers (the wife & gf), his parents (the crib) and finally himself. He meets the woman who is searching through the house and follows her. When they meet, he sees himself in her (the scene where he’s looking at himself, only it turns out to be her). They sit and talk (this scene is interesting because the light changes. Maybe showing the passage of time? Or maybe showing his feelings from changing from dark to light?) Then he goes back through those relationships and is happier. He realises his happiness is within himself. The woman then reappears and they walk through the door together (I think she’s the MV version of “The Librarian” from the book) and as they leave we see all the different sets. All the different “realities”. This song and video is very poetic and beautiful. RM had often talked about finding balance in his life. He’s two people in one. He’s Kim Namjoon. A regular dude who likes regular things. And he’s RM. The superstar. A lot of his lyricism wrestles with his two sides. Thanks for the reaction Teej. You nice! Keep going!
So I have since seen this explanation. NOT MINE but I am not sure who is the original- but 🤯... if you are interested... Minha is a librarian in the MV. The house is a library where Namjoon goes door to door from book to book. These each rooms are individual books. Each book takes him to a different environment in a different situation. All these books take him to those times of his life like: childhood with parents, love life, married life, drinking with friends, failure At the end we see Minha leading him inside what is essentially a bookshelf and Namjoon sees the failures of his own life in the books inside. Those who have read the book The Midnight Library will understand this whole thing. This is a book that Namjoon has read, liked and recommended. The final scene resembles a bookshelf in the Midnight Library where each book depicts protagonist Nora Seed's regrets. Nora is a 34-year-old woman with depression who wanted to commit suicide. She passes between life and death. And that place is called midnight library. We see Joon running from door to door in a corridor. He is given one more chance to go through his penances. The point is, "If I hadn't done that, maybe this wouldn't have happened to me." After reading the books, entering those rooms, Namjoon realizes that nothing more could have been done in this situation than what he did. He finally realizes that he is the best version of himself and has nothing to regret. That's what we see at the end. Namjoon is getting out of those situations with librarian Minha. Then he came back to his present situation, hanging out with those friends and completely clear minded. This means he has no regrets or regrets. By "Come back to me " he's calling his own old real self back to Himself and he finds himself back.
When delving into BTS, keep an open mind. Get rid of your expectations. You will enjoy their music better! The rappers can sing and the vocal lines can rap, but usually RM and Suga wrote songs for the group to sing.
His second official album 'Right Place Wrong Person' will be out on May 24th. We will love to see you reacting to it too!! Thank you for your reaction!
So just gunna throw this out there.. This new album is musically super sick and full of collaborations with his musician friends of all areas. I think his english lyrics are more about the vibe and sound. A lot of the english is all over the place but i don't think he cares. He could have all of it checked for mistakes but i think he just went na im good lemme just vibe out.!
You didn't expect this because you don't know much of his discography. Check out his albums Indigo and Mono. Each member of BTS is diverse in themselves, not just diverse from one another. And all the rappers sing too.
Someone said the woman who helped RM open the door is supposed to represent ARMYs and if that's true, it's so touching 🥺💜 Also I think to get to know RM's music more you should listen any song from Mono, My favorite is Seoul
They planned so much stuff ahead of time! RM’s Album drops Friday. We’ve been teased with another Jimin project, a travel vlog with Jimin and JK, and more. Jin will be back in less than a month!

ohhh~ I really like that thought process. Think I might lean towards this as well tbh lol

RM the most talented rapper, composer, songwriter, producer and human being ,every song he does has a different story and different emotions!!❤
You need to listen to his 2 albums ..Indigo and Mono..pretty much Namjoon in a nutshell 💜

@@TEEJ-9 yes. he surprised army by doing this song at that show. 💜
5:24 we weren’t surprised by it because he sang it once. And it has a chilled namjooning vibe to it.
ahh gotcha. Wait, whaa? Namjooning? lol nicee

There are so many theories and interpretations. RM has my favorite voice in the whole universe since I found him in 2014.
2014 going strong..love it
If you like plz react to Bookish theories explanation on this MV. The MV is mutch more deep than we think actually 😂💜️
