    You lost me saying the avata has obstacle avoidance…..

    I feel like half of your talking points would be solved by building your own fpv quad. If you can fly manual on the avata, then you can handle a cinewhoop. Also if you build it with the dji 03 unit, you can use your goggles and transmitter from your avata 1. You can personalize it for power and handling, and everything is easy to replace. The batteries are safe to use if you aren't an idiot. Then you can put a gopro on it or a decased gopro. I love everything about the avata 2, I think it is phenomenal, but it's almost not repairable enough in case I crash, that and the flight restrictions, but I overall its a really well engineered drone.

      That’s a very good point. I am very very close to buying an FPV quad. Would you have any recommendations?

      @@ChristianoGioacchiniI mean your flying looks somewhat fast, so maybe you could go for a 5 in freestyle drone and use your gp12, or buy a 3.5 or 3 in cinewhoop. I have the lumineer qav pro 2.5 for real estate stuff with a decased gopro, and a geprc cinebot 30, I can reccomend both. The smaller one for indoors only though for the most part. I think the cinebot 30 can handle a gopro if you use a usb c to balance lead adapter (no battery in gopro, abt 40 grams less weight). Watch some reviews to find what you like. Go 6s if you can, and buy with an 03 air unit.

      As someone who hasn't had a drone since the Phantom 2 I see your points. And I agree. Building my own quad is definitely something I want to do. One day. But right now I am way more interested in just getting the Avata 2 kit for the simple reason it comes ready to go. I can take the box, open it, go out and cruise. Then I can build my own to do the things I feel the Avata is missing - if I feel like it - and keep using the controllers and goggles.

    good video. It is an Avata 3.5, how can you mount the GoPro 12 on an unmodified Avata?

    Can I use the AVATA 2 to clear pine needles, leaves from my roof/gutter guards?

    So if the camera sucks, why wouldnt you just build a drome yourself, which also has a camera that sucks for the view finder with an Insta360 Ace Pro ontop, while having not only a cheaper but also much quicker and more durable drone at the same time (quicker being at the cost of battery life down to something like 4 minutes).

    Wait how are you talking about the avata 2 when all you have in front of you is the avata 1? Avata 2 has a better camera. Not better than the gopro but better than the avata 1. Oh and battery last longer also.

    I'm almost sure that if you take one of those batteries apart you will find lipo cells inside there along with a little thing that controls the smart part, I really would not charge any battery over night

    Wait... so you say you might not want to get the avata 2. But your whole video says why you like your drone. Have you flown the avata 2? Or just read specs? My avata 2 is muuuuch more nimble and powerful than my original avata. don't say its not as powerful if you've only watched videos on it.

    • @ChristianoGioacchini
      @ChristianoGioacchini  Місяць тому

      I tried one and it didn’t seem to have more power. Very similar top speeds as well.

      @@ChristianoGioacchini Avata 2 is faster in Sport mode but I fly in full manual so you simply get longer flight times flying at 60+MPH. It is a serious upgrade to the Avata 1 in almost every way. The only thing the Avata 1 has over it's successor it that repairability is easier but they are both robust drones and care refresh is a must for both anyway.
