Probably because of the tone and standards that Maria has always maintained. She hasn't gone the path of other ASMR artists with sexually suggestive content. In my opinion, she is one of the best old-school pure ASMR artist on UA-cam.

I discovered Maria in early 2013 and was FLOORED with tingles and relaxation. Over the years I've branched out to other ASMRtists as the community grew. But nobody will ever feel as close to me as Maria. I often times forget I don't know her in person and likewise she doesn't know a lot of us, but she continues to pour her love and peace into us. It's been so amazing to grow with her and have her reassurance for the past seven years. She's truly an angel.

Yes I 100% agree. Maria’s was the first AMSR channel I found, and for the longest time she was the only I watched because she was legit the only ASMRtist who I enjoyed. I’ve found other great people like Sarah Lavender since then, but there is absolutely no one who’s voice, persona, and overall vibration relaxes me the way GentleWhispering can. My overall stress in life would be atrocious without this channel, it’s saved me from so many sleepless, anxiety-ridden nights. I probably owe an enormous part of my mental sanity directly to her.
I just realized what your ASMR reminds of. I never get the tingles but I always get sleepy with the whispers. I just realized it reminds me of when I was young, having sleepovers & whispering with my friends till really really late, until one of us would fall asleep. Anyone else have those memories too?

Yep, for me, it's like mom wants you to fall asleep and try to get relax when she's singing on a low volume.
When i was really young I heard people colouring or cutting with scissors id feel this tingle. 3 years ago I discovered that feeling was ASMR. I thought only I felt that.

Maria you posted this hours after we had our cat put to sleep. You play that beautiful music that I loved from a former video that moved me, AND you got teary eyed. When your eyes welled with tears, the things you were saying moved me in my grief. This part of this video was speaking to me as I cried over the loss of Sam...my sweet little friend for 15 yrs.
Anne Marie, I'm sorry for your loss. My life is my family of rescue critters and losing my faithful feline companion Esther was devastating. She kept me going through awful depression and anxiety and was my reason for getting up each morning. I hope you are healing and remembering the good times you had with your beautiful Sam and that when the time is right, you will share your love with another lucky cat. I came across this video recently after another pet bereavement and found Maria's compassion deeply comforting at a time when I was most raw. Sending good wishes to you.

In my opinion, this is one of the most powerful videos she has ever made. I have come back to it during many hardships over the last couple yrs and it is always just as powerful as the first time I watched. The raw emotion and intention radiates through so intensely.
