Nate Tarver's first day of work as a police officer in Oklahoma would leave him shocked as one of his coworkers would refer to him as a nigger with gun over forty years ago while he was being issued his uniform. In an age when diversity wasn't appreciated or fully accepted, Nate was the only African American in a department that wasn't ready for inclusiveness. That day changed Nate forever as he would begin an uphill battle to establish himself as a peacekeeper and servant of the people. His goal has always been to be an extension of the hand of GOD and exhibit peace, solidarity, and hope to all races and cultures.
