Surface Laptop 7 for me personally. Costs less, same performance, similar battery life, better port selection, and you can actually put it on your lap.
I'm going with the Surface Pro Copilot+ version. Main reason... I need stylus support for my photography workflow. Ironically, I could save a few $$$ going with the entry config on the iPad Pro M4 with the Magic Keyboard. But since I'm a PC guy, and am interested to see how the ARM support is on these new devices, decided to go with the Surface Pro.

I have a surface pro 7plus, i need an upgrade. For college . Dont know if its better to go with surface pro 11. Or laptop. If i go laptop is surface pro 7 better then galaxy book 4 edge?
Apologies if you mentioned but you can use the older keyboards on the Surface Pro (and even the older pen) so that combo (older style keybaord + new or old pen) would probably save you around $150. Plus even the LCD Surface Pro has a better PPI display. Lastly Renaisser make a good keyboard just like microsofts that is also blutooth but can connect to SP ports and cheaper.
You can tell I am more a Surface Pro man...

Thanks for another nice video, Cyrus. Hey, I don't want to be too demanding, but the rooster way near the end at 5:47 isn't doing it for me. Could you please rent a full-body rooster costume. We don't need entire videos in this getup, but 3-sec clip at the start of each video, where you are shown first in profile and then dramatically turn your head to camera and say/shout, "See Rooster Tech, BRROOOK!" Yeah, I believe that would take your videos to another level.

As a teacher I need the stylus... so my best option is the new Surface Pro... BUT.... I already have the Surface pro 8 and it's not great for the job. Battery life is poooor. Proprietary charger (wtf ?). Bad heath dissipation (event if what you only do is annotating powerpoints in the classroom) so it's thermal throttling and the experience is really bad. Have to use the tablet with keyboard connected for some features and without keyboard for other when teaching... sometimes keyboard is no more recognized and sometimes it's the stylus that no more works... Bad optimization... Maybe the ability to use the keyboard unattached would be a reliable option... I don't really need all this IA mess but just need a working device. I'll wait for more tests showing me Surface Pro is at least usable for a full time teacher... The price makes me consider various other options....
Can I use the keyboard of the surface pro 9 on this one? Is the quality better now or what is the difference beside the Copilot key

If you don't have a good touchscreen laptop but already have an iPad or galaxy tab s tablet (or great tablet) then get the laptop.
If you already have a good touchscreen laptop but no good tablet then get an iPad or galaxy tab s tablet..
If you have neither a good laptop or a good tablet and plan to get only 1 device then get the surface pro.
If you have neither and want 2 devices then get the laptop and also a galaxy tab s tablet or iPad. Do not get both the surface and the windows laptop.
My job is giving me $2.5k to get any laptop (except Apple) and I’m still torn 🥲
