I am interest in getting an impact gun like this, but right now I am stuck between this or the craftsman one. The differences I see are that the craftsman one is 350 ft lbs. and the porter cable is only 260 ft lbs. Also the rpms are slightly higher on the craftsman one, but besides that it seems the same? Does anyone have any recommendations on the two? Which brand is better? Or does it really make a difference between 260 ft lbs and 330 ft lbs?
Hopefully craftsmans 1/2" 19.2 volt impact is as impressive because I already had the duel speed drill and recently acquired used, the 1/4" impact, sawzall, circular saw, charger and one 19.2 volt nicad battery. I will be upgrading that system to lithium ion battery and charger along with purchase of 1/2" impact. Otherwise the porter cable was the direction I was going to go. Great information thanks.
Can these Battery powered electric drills replace standard electric drill in car repair ? More precise - when drilling bolt that have broken head , in order to insert bolt extractors...
Can anyone verify that the PCC740 impact is a re branded Dewalt DW059 with a few minor changes? I need a nose for my PC but you have to buy the entire motor assembly to get it, the Dewalt on the other hand has the nose.
Do you have an idea on battery life with the set up in the video? I have the 1.5 amp battery like you, but I want to upgrade my old impact to this one. I work in a dealership so battery life is important. Great video
Nice review , it did not take 20 minutes , and straight to the point .
Absolutely. Appreciate the feedback.
How's it holding up?
Thanks for the review. I was just thinking about picking up my first impact wrench and this looks like a winner
So far so good. Thank you.
How well Is the portacable holding up after 3 years?

Do you think this will remove the lug nuts off of my f350 diesel and my case skid steer?

Battery tech has come a long way. I tend to use cordless and have a corded tool as a back up.
Any followup reviews? How's it faring so far?
Do you still have the porter cable and how well is it holding up?
It's December......how's it holding up? Do you still recommend it?
Absolutely. Only in one instance did it not have enough power, removing a lug nut. (It was seized on. Broke in half with a breaker bar.)

The one I have isn’t that strong

I use the tool seldomly, however, it does hold a charge quit well. It's terrific for axle nuts, lower strut bolts, subframe fasteners, etc.
This was on clearance for $65
Whoa! That's a great price
Damn where'd you find that price?
@CarsNToys if you read this, can you do a cut and open on oreilly auto part MicroGard oil filter !!! please !! thank you !!
Price
As stated, $105 for the bare tool.
330 torque is okay but I want Makitas with 1180 torque.
Price is drastic though $239 for tool or $470 for kit
Agreed. I like Makita as well.
