COMEDY WITH BITE.
The BenZi Project is comedy sketch series aimed at making you laugh, then think, then cry uncontrollably in existential dread (in that order). The brainchild of Singaporean-based actors and writers Benjamin Kheng (of The Sam Willows) and Hirzi Zulkiflie (of MunahHirziOfficial), BenZi exists in the same world as mermaid frappuccinos and beer yoga, as the show no one ask for or deserves, but is going to get anyway.

pre-conceived idea, close-mindedness, stereotyping; people like that need to mix with a lot more strangers with backgrounds opposite to them or else they will forever live in a shell and think they are right, others are wrong

Reminds me of my situation. I am Chinese and have a Malay partner. We've been together for 5 years now. It is tiring to see how people living in the 21st century are still unable to accept interracial relationships. Why can't we all just respect one another and live in harmony? Sad
Sad to hear that...hope u and partner work out things n have a blessed wedding
Agree 😫
Literrly the malay version of get out
I think the concern are not exactly abt the race but the religion..non-malays need to understand that Malays in SG are generally Muslims. When we talk about race & culture, Malay culture & lifestyle itself are actually mostly based on Islamic teachings. Eg, eating by hand & right hand. Every action hold a specific virtue for its believers and has spiritual values attached to it, including marriage. Hence, its not mere cultural thing that could be easily compromised because it would mean that we will be disregarding the Islamic teachings. Chinese cultures & lifestyle on the other hand, may have some attached meanings & beliefs that are contradictory to the Islamic beliefs. Eg, u need to give 2 oranges instead of 1. Marriage for Muslims are abt guiding each other to become stronger & better Muslims, so this could not be achieved if one partner hold an opposite lifestyle/beliefs. Hence the worry of every Muslim parent. I think its important for non-Malays to understand before they commit to a relationship with a Malay, they are not just dating a Malay but a Muslim? They need to consider if they are willing to be a Muslim & accept Islamic cultures if ever their relationship leads to marriage. Of course, if some of the chinese cultures do not have attached meanings and does not contradict with the Islamic teachings, those could be worked out and shouldnt be an issue.
@@user-jd2dn5fb2g lol double standard, why should the non muslim become muslim? Why don't the muslim become the non muslim instead? How about they live their life according to their own way? Why need to force one believe to another?
This is quality comedy omg xD dedddd all the stereotypes and misunderstandings and misled understanding of rlg. education 🤣 can't wait for the rest of the episodes to come
"Diet is a myth"
Lolll...that's soooo true.

Really...this vid e best ..been repeatedly watching it
Lol same
I watched this multiple times and my fav part is when makcik said “that is a joke. Ah that one you can laugh.” Hahahahaha...
Hahaha Huge sarcasm
Everyone been commenting about Mak but the Chinese Japanese actor, aka Ben also paling best jugak! Great job Ben for playing the Chinese in love with Malay girl!
SHIT WHY IS THIS SO RELATABLE TO MALAY HOUSEHOLD WHENEVER SOMEONE S/O IS OF A DIFFERENT RACE 😂
"BUT PORK YOU EAT LA" is the best line ever that make me laughing so hard right now and also when her brother say "BUUTCH" this video makes me watch it twice haha
Adam: It's a long list.
Mak: Shorten it!!
Adam: I just can't eat meat. That's the short answer.
Mak: Lengthen it!!!
Lol. Bravo Mak.😂😂
Better than any Singapore drama on Mediacock.
Im Malay and vegan... and it's so intimidating for me when so many people question my choice for being vegan when i go to social events..ahaha, relevant 😂😂totally feel this poor dude
I'm Malay and I don't eat sayur. Hahahaha

This skit was absolutely brilliant!! Everything about it; the timing, the shots, the dialogue, the acting

I literally just choke on my own saliva when Hirzi said "But pork you eat lah?!' 😂😂😂 Just too funny 😂
why is it funny?? You go Indian house they shout in your face BUT COW YOU EAT LAH! can or not?
“You just tell me what animal you want eat, I take out from the fridge!” This makcik, volume control rosak siol! 😂
I didn't expect to end like that!! Hahahha!!! Funny! Great job!!!
Ok Netflix better pick this up and make it into at least a 10-seasons series!!! This is an AMAZING series! Great job to the two of you and everyone else involved :) May the new year bring you greater success!
the editing and acting is great I literally felt so tense while watching this

Damn this is good stuff! Can’t wait to watch the other vids. Damn funny 😄
Mak Cik reminds me of my high school friend's mom. Super passive aggressive and you don't know when to laugh or not to laugh.
The sound effect somehow sounded like Annabelle 's. Another way to horror movie
meeting with your prospective parents in law always like a horror scene in movies
If mak cik ni bakal mak mertua aku, i cabut dulu... 😂
"And when we harvested the rice, Gone were all their homes" I'm dead OMG this video is so funny
omg! what have i missed out all my life. the comedic factor is pure gold! XDXD
Feels like key and peele vibes
KAAN Makcik looks like Keegan-Michael Key!
Genevieve Tan hahaha it is! 🤣🤣
Why on earth he said “Selamat Datang” as a guest?
Ya Allah!! Lawak gileeee weh.. da lme aq x ktawa mcm ni..pdahal scene meja mkn je tp paduuuu
I can see Hirzi's character becoming the Malay version of Madea. Ya'll need to do a movie based on this family. The Mak and Adik characters are pure gold.
Hirzi you made me laugh out loud in public train...! To add on to this halal topic, did any of you guys realised the link to this video starts with the letters ‘Pig’...? How irony can this get...?
This was so intense. Love it tho. Amazing acting skills
I’m so grateful to have found this channel! Couldn’t stop laughing 😂
