In my opinion, that 18/19 season was Messi’s best season. He single handedly almost won them the treble. They should have beaten Liverpool and went on to the finals to beat Spurs, but they choked. I was depressed as Real Madrid fan from 2009 to 2012 I mean we won copa del rey in 2011 so Barca didnt win another treble and we won la liga in 2012 with 100 points but Barca was beating us and humiliating us in that era I never thought that we would win that many UCLs in next years.

For me, football was never the same the moment Ronaldo went to Juventus. Never. This Era of football, the spirit of every single player in the Real Madrid and Barcelona side was just something else. I saw him play at the Rose Bowl in 2010 against LA Galaxy...looked like a superhero figure to me...el classicos those first few years I will always remember..the hype, the electricity, the tension...to decide la Liga winner in one or two matches...
