Ok, so I know the track has been on youtube forever now, but can we talk about how incredible the key change at the beginning of Skeleton Appreciation Day is? It makes me stupidly happy to see that such a ridiculously talented man can still make little mistakes like just forgetting how to play parts of his songs.

I always appreciate the way he does things, there's something special about how lowkey of an artist he was in terms of recordings and audiences, while still having this kind of music. And even though I disagree with him on some things he wasn't overbeaing about it. Sometimes lol. I especially like everything of his from the 2010s, in my opinion that was peak. Not as professional, more artsy and raw. That will always be my favourite. I kind of grew away from his most recent stuff.

"can't wait to die" has such a strange vibe, feels very shayfer james but also just weird compared to other stuff. A lot of will's older stuff has the musical comedy vibe down, and his newer/newest stuff is more complex/personal, but that one is just such a stick-out.
