I think that WuWa combat is hard when you want it to be.
For example, the Hologram. I don't know if it is because I am not fully spec-out, but Crow and Tempest Hologram is making my hand sweat too much at level 5 and above. Level 1 is nothing, but beyond 5 you need to turn on try hard mode.

I would agree that WuWa's combat is very Nier and DMC-like, they pull from a lot of different games they're fans of. Me and my friends are expecting Royal Guard Zani now we know she uses a shield in the new trailer
I think mostly it's neir and dmc like also the pulled some from mgrr and some from sekiro, ghost of Tsushima etc but most part is from pgr which is neir and dmc combination

Wuthering Waves is the best gacha game.
The more time passes, the more we see just how good of a developer-customer relations there is.
Even the simple fact that they added skins as early as 2.0 and there's already a fully skill effect one. That's HUGE for these waifu games.
I still have the usual gripes with any open world gacha: you do the great content, exploration, story, but then there's little incentive to keep playing and you have to wait for the next map or quest. Events are mostly fine aside from the horrible reward structure of the combat ones (pull currency locked behind whale stages), but the big draw is the content that will "run out" after a bit.
WuWa is still an amazing game to play, the combat is smooth and rewards you for getting good, exploration is easily the best out there even competitive with paid open world games at times and visually it's just stunning. Those new maps in Rinascita are something else.
Even if maybe not hardcore daily grind all the time, I can see myself playing it for a long while, especially with how fast the new maps and quests come out.
I agree. But they still need to cook better with the Skins. For the fact Jinshis Skin costs money, it doesnt even look that good. I am a Skin Collector and usually dont mind spending 20-40€ for a good skin. But the first two are... even a skip for me. I hope they cook better skins like in PGR

It's funny that they're talking about the influence of wuwa being mainly nier and DMC at the end of the video. I would hazard a guess that the franchises that influenced kuro the most might have collabs in PGR lol

3 Things WuWa needs to do, to reach perfection
1. Better writing,
the current Story is quite mediocre even for Kuro standards. Look at the Character Quests, they are far better than any story quers atm.
2. Better Events,
Gatcha have usually quite mediocre Events. Genshin had mid events, ZZZ has mid Events, Afk Journey has mid events. But i hope WuWa wont follow the trrend. After all, PGR had some big and fun events.
3.More character depth and player Interactions.
- Currently the Characters in WuWa look beautiful and cool, but they lack personality. Most of them are quite generic stereotypes and have nothing going for them.
- PGR did anything with character interactions players could wish for.
I respectfully disagree.
1) Story in 1.1 and 1.3 was excellent. Even if 1.3 is short.
2) Would you mind explaining what you mean by "better events"?
Better mechanics in events?
Better story in events?
Better rewards in events?
More frequent events?
3) Characters have personality and lore.
From their design, that talks about them, to their iddle animations and walking patterns, to their companion stories.
We do need more interactiins between the companions and general content around (eg: comments like those companions had during Mass Effect), and finding them in the world and being able to talk to them would be awesome (Mortefi, Sanhua and Shorekeeper are there, but only Shorekeeper feels relevant)
So, Kuro are halfway there.

I'd like to see Kuro build a huge community around their game. I am not sure if it is because I don't hang around the community (then again, I don't hang around any Gacha community), but I want to see a lot of comics, and more cosplays even at non-Wuthering Wave events like at animecon. I want to see more artwork, animations, and other things. They are doing good work improving Wuthering Waves, except for the annoying thing with every new character and MC because every character wetting themselves for the MC gets old fast. But anyway, I want to see them get bigger than they are now.

All I will say is that I completely disagree with this opinion. The only part of WuWa that felt like it had lack of polish to me is the performance on mobile and also how it performed on PC at launch (this has largely been resolved).
If only they wouldn't have destroyed the game today with their recent nerf of event bars during an event, literally spitting on everyone's faces. Instead of making the game and events better, they just lower the score midway and say "fukk off". The worst gacha devs I have ever seen who can't even improve the gaming experience. 😢 Sad to see they have fallen this low today.

That was the best thing they could do. The combat in the event was good, the scoring is the real problem.
The mechanics was clearly stated if u read, "dodge, parry, & counter to get higher score". Now they that lowered the score, the only problem is player's skill issue and reading comprehension
@@Abraham00218 The Event wasnt good. Maybe harder with other characters, but my Xiangli Yao just made max scores in each room aside the last one, were i had 3900 points. Its just a brain off "hit boss, dodge" event.
Its nice to lower the Score for casuals. But still, the Event has zero creativity. Its the most generic Boss rush in Existence. The hardest part is wasiting for 5 days until the rooms are all open hehe
@@SolaireOfToast Easy quick and dirty solutions, instead of spitting on people's faces: Stop timer between the end of the last fight per stage until the start of the fight in next stage. Just an example.
It's just one event, geez so emo, instead help by leaving good feedback, the previous tactical event was fine, they could also add more points for finishing sooner or make the bosses hit hard to force you to dodge
