I was also impressed with their research and development in other areas that were the precursor to AI. Of course, Jenson Huang was and is an incredible CEO. I saw early that Nvidia would be a game changer to the world. It has been a game changer to my retirement too!

I think Nvidia is already prepared for the scenario in which hyperscalers scale back on purchasing their gpus. They’re diversifying to countries as well as non-cloud corporations like Dell purchasing gpus.
Way…way underestimated , in my opinion it will should hit 250-275 range by end of next year. You are not factoring in the potential growth from Nvidia’s software business.
The way Nvidia and other tech stock moving, there is a similarity with 2000 tech bubble.. there is a risk.. Nvidia moved 2.5 times in the last 1 yr, this will be very hard to sustain going ahead. The moment there is any bad news in the market, the tech stock might fall fast.. though its long term future is good..
Great analogy. The tech companies with a strong moat like Apple and Microsoft crashed hard during that bubble. But, those companies survived in the long term. I also wouldn't be shocked to see a similar crash, but that shouldn't change anyone's long term perspective about Nvidia's future growth potential.

Nvidia is 100% reliant on TSMC, their latest datacenter chip is 2 chips back to back, to say limits have been reached with this tech is an understatement. Different architectures are the way forward, Groq and Cerberus are already faster than what Nvidia has. They can do a lot still with what they got but I don't see them holding the top seat for 10 years. Especially if China goes for Taiwan (TSMC).

I just watched it. I think he's right that Nvidia is currently a risky investment, and I think that investing in the NFLX of two years ago (if you find such a stock now) would be a better investment. That's one reason I've been cautious about investing in Nvidia, and have mostly only done so when there's a pullback in the stock price. I'm fairly conservative, as an investor, so I will likely also do some significant profit taking before other investors do. I still don't think that it's a bad investment now, and neither does he. It's just a risky one. My personal opinion.

Usually huge swings are in response to some good or bad news about the company that move the stock price significantly. Yes you can trade after hours if your brokerage firm allows it. I think most online platform do.
