Yes, I've lived all over the place in extreme weather areas on both ends of the spectrum and am pretty much used to it. But when the lightning starts I'M DONE!
This past week I saw a rogue strike to a transformer (mother nature smoked it BTW), about 500' in front of me while driving, and the cloud it came out of was not typical whatsoever. Better safe than sorry!
