I’m brewing one of my last Paks (have 4 left) on my Pico Pro, but really good my breath every time I turn the machine on. I w only brewed a handful of beers to date, even though I’ve owned it for 2 years, but I’d hate to see it go down for good. Thanks again!
Thanks dude!! As an owner of a Zymatic I’m fairly concerned about it all, so your updates are very much appreciated. Picobrew’s customer service was always top notch in my book so having all this happen has been a bummer. I’m going to continue using my Zymatic until the step filter cracks beyond repair or the unit itself goes belly up or the servers shut down. It really is a fun unit to brew with. I hope it all works out.

Get one of the guys to step through the setup of the Ras Pi. They say it's easy, but if you are not a pi guy you cannot follow the setup. You can download, but how do you get it to run. If you look at the facebook page it is the same guys posting. There are over 30K people that own units but can't follow how to get it to run.
I was given a Picobrew Model C for Christmas 2 years ago and like an idiot, I did not purchase any picopaks. Now I can't find a picopak for sale. If I was to use it as a Manual brewer, would I only need brew bags aside from ingredients and a recipe? Thanks.

Knowing that Pico is passing by this insolvency issue, and may be completely out of business or "dead" as a company, in your opinion is there a risk that PicoBrew machines stop to work once their servers get shutdown (if they get shutdown)? I was looking to buy one Pico machine , but I am afraid to make this investment and see the company shutdown in a few months or weeks... Do you think it is still worh investment to buy Pico machine now, considering all this uncertainty around the company?

Hand wash and you will be fine. I got a second bin from pico and have hand washed it with no cracks.

Correct. check out picobrewers groups on facebook. Some are 3D printing vessels to help with this

I do, especially at the current discounted used systems. The Facebook Picobrewers group has already developed a viable alternative.
