- Ages ago, sorcerers of unmatched power sundered a world into four realms--sky, stone, fire, and water--then vanished. Over time, magicians learned to work spells only in their own realms and forgot the others. Now only the few who have survived the Labyrinth and crossed the Death Gate know of the presence of all four realms--and even they have yet to unravel the mysteries of their severed world...
Greetings everyone. It is time to bring back the Death Gate cycle. The recordings were severely bad. I tried to improve the quality as much as possible. Enjoy the show.
I’ve read this series numerous times and it never gets old for me. Thanks for uploading this.
It needs a real movie effort in full
@@bradmettler4566I'd be happy with an animated series, even.. provided that meant the characters were given the depth and development they get in the novels.
7 seasons, perhaps.. one for each book?
Same here. I've read the series multiple times. So dreamy

A deeply cerebral and wondrous tale, set in a unique and imaginative multidimensional universe. What a masterful story!
Yes, a 90% copied over from AD&D Al Qadim sort of `unique´.
@a.m.pietroschek1972 Are you suggesting that a DND book might resemble a DND campaign. I'm pretty sure that's the point of DND books... Not sure that your snark actually makes any sense 🤔 . So like I wrote that to contribute to the content of the INN... Lay off Super Snark
I love sitting at the black rat inn with a Horn of mead and a turkey leg 🍗 as The Bard recounts the tale ...... Thank you my old friend, I subscribed when there was only 6 , iv never been sorry
Thank you so much for doing this! I have tried to buy the books for years from used book stores and have collected books 1-4, 6 and 7. I've always wanted to finish this series. This has been one of my favorite series and the world building is unmatched!
Man if they could make a movie of this but your narrative is great thank you for this
Thank you for these audiobooks!!
Despite owning and currently rereading the physical books right now, it's so cool to listen to the audio version too. Receiving it in a fresh way. And finally knowing how to pronounce "Jarre", heh. Thank you for this.
Wasn't expecting this. Thank you! Such a hero
Thank you, I missed this series. You've done a great job with the audio given the source.
Thank you.
I loved reading this book the audio is amazing thank you
i ❤ you for adding this
I've looked for these in audiobook for a while.
Kudos! The audio quality is not flawless, but far from crappy AND better than OTR at least.
Thank you friend
so grateful you're adding the deathgate cycle. last time, book 5 part 2 was messed up. any chance it will be fixed this time around?
What was wrong with it do you remember? I will carefully check it. Thanks
@@blackratinn to the best of my recollection, its about halfway through book 5 part 2. a chapter about iradyl and hugh ends, and the next chapter is one from earlier in the book where limbec is using his socks to mark is path down the sartan tunnels. it continues like this for about 4-6 chapters before returning to regular play, but there are 4-6 chapters missing
hopefully that helps. also, you're my hero.
@@scottfahey3020 Interesting. It looks like probably the uploader messed up the order. It does not surprise me since the entire recording sounds like it was done in a toilet. Ok thanks. I will check
I do too .❤
Disregard my earlier comment on the short that introduced this series...lol

What is the young princes' name? Thane, bane, pain, fain?
Bane
Freeware FxSound includes the option to increase audio clarity up to ten times! On this audiobook, Clarity 10, Ambience 5, Surround 4, Dynamic Boost 10, and Bass Boost 1 were my best settings.
I wish the audio could get cleaned up in this series
I did clean it up as much as possible. On the other hand i dont appreciate bitching after the effort i put into this.
Lol. Amen man. Loved that you have this. I read them in my teen years and to this day it holds as one of my absolute favorite fantasy series of all time. Thanks for all your hard work my friend.
@@blackratinn You did good, as in your efforts sincerely deserving better since reviving the Black Rat Inn at all.
@@a.m.pietroschek1972 Welcome old friend
