What are you doing at 1:21:50 ? Do you do that so that it doesn't disappear. That's what I've been struggling with, can't save the chopper on the ground if I leave it for a round.
it could be much faster if you use the jet gun tech where you blow it up with L2 and pull out your lethal as it blasts. there's a rhythm to it. Also getting back to the spot at the start of the round has no affect on time - it's not allowing all 40 spawns to be filled.
I believe the jet gun glitch isn't allowed in high rounds/speedruns. Also getting back into the spawn control before the start of the round does matter, as zombies spawning outside of it will slow you down while they run to you.

I thought it did for a while but if you watch how spawns work it caps at 40, up until then it’s a consistent spawn rate. this means that even if you have them spawn outside of the rooftop, theres no time loss as it’s still constantly spawning zombies. the only time he has any significant slow down is transitioning into chopper gunner as almost every time he had hit the 40 spawn cap. hence why as soon as he shoots his first bullet from the chopper you see a sudden burst of new spawns - indicating the cap was reached. with 7 possible spawns on the roof (5 actually on top, 2 below the rooftop where vermin spawn) so long as he doesn’t let zombies build up for anymore than 6 seconds, he will never be slowed down by spawns. another way to look at it is, because each round’s spawns are essentially an autoscroller, where there is always going to be some amount of time waiting for all to spawn in, no matter the spawn location, the time it takes for them to get to you is almost ALWAYS faster than the amount of time it takes for all zombies to spawn in. the only time it won’t be is when there are less than 40 zombies in the round OR when you’re at the end of a round already and get an awkward spawn. the start of a round will have 0 time loss from an incidental non roof spawn unless you decide to stop killing.

for vermin rounds, the RC-XD strat relies on the turret augment.

ya if you pick them up it resets the timer for it to despawn, also still has a chance to bug out but I think thats just for very high rounds.

Open the barricade on the rooftop, hop down and you can open the bank through the ceiling, might take some time to find the right spot
I think they’ve nerfed the speed of each round and spawn of the zombies because I’m noticing it’s not as fast now..?
This is crazy fast, I wonder how fast this will be with the new mangler spawn rates and the shorter bug rounds.
I’m currently on round 180 so if I wait to play my saved game till then will the bug rounds not be 15 mins ?
