I love the closeness of this family, how precious it must be. I didn't grow up with a mother or father, I was raised by anyone who would take me in. But My Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ has given me a wonderful husband and 3 children and soon to be 5 grandchildren. God is so good to balance our life. Although my decorating style is European country ( English and French country) I love the details and can appreciate Aunt Penny's hard work that she puts into her adorable home.
Aunt Penny has outdone herself, once again, with every corner of her home. The detail in the cupboard vignettes is not lost on me! That little green cupboard has me swooning again! While I love your home and all your wonderful and talented decorating and collecting, most of all I love your family and friends!! So real and down to Earth. I haven't had a Christmas like this since I was little. I'm old!! You have no idea how refreshing it is to see such "real people" and nothing fake. Everyone being themselves and nothing fake or put on. While it makes me happy, it makes me sad. My family (extended) are all so fake I don't have anything to do with them or as little as possible. My parents and Nanny were like your family . . . lots of fun and foolishness. I miss it so much. Happy Holidays to you and yours!!!

Please tell your Aunt Penny how adorable everything looks.I am a 72 yo worn out RN,and this past month I had to have my third Cervical diseectomy,and .Fusion from C3 to C5 so I put up my tree before my Sx.Than the day after Sx my oldest grandbaby calls.She asked me what was,Ii doing?I am finishing up my Christmas decor!!She laughed, because she knows her grandma has to decorate. Lol😅 Merry Christmas Kayla,Aunt Penney,and church ladies.My Sister's in the Lord from my church can get crazy too at our functions. Happy birthday to my Lord,and Savior Jesus.

I always enjoy Penny’s tours especially Christmas time but she has truly out did herself this time. I loved it all. She has quite a selection of Shiny Brites. I have just a small collection passed down to me from a sweet aunt. I’m so afraid that they are going to get broke. I put them in an old clear jar and display them every year and think about Aunt Eula. I know you all had the best time. When Penny said “they’ll talk til they die”. I just cracked up. Goodness- Does Aunt Penny have training in interior design? She has such a great eye, and the most amazing pieces. I mean anyone can buy things, but knowing how to showcase them can be a challenge. The plastic flower picks for cards at the grocery stores work really well to hold up little cards and signs like Aunt Penny's "25" and since they are clear, you can hide them well. =) Just passing that along. =)

I just heard y’all mention Prattville so you must be. It makes me so happy because I’m a displaced Alabamian up here in KC. I just love the relationship you have with Aunt Penny. My older sister passed away in late October of this year. We are 9 years apart and she reminds me so much of Aunt Penny. I miss her terribly. We liked to go junking and just have fun together. Merry Christmas to you both and God Bess!❤

I always enjoy Penny’s tours especially Christmas time but she has truly out did herself this time. I loved it all. She has quite a selection of Shiny Brites. I have just a small collection passed down to me from a sweet aunt. I’m so afraid that they are going to get broke. I put them in an old clear jar and display them every year and think about Aunt Eula. I know you all had the best time. When Penny said “they’ll talk til they die”. I just cracked up. Goodness- Does Aunt Penny have training in interior design? She has such a great eye, and the most amazing pieces. I mean anyone can buy things, but knowing how to showcase them can be a challenge. If she's not trained-well, she's a natural and has a great gift either way. This home is stunning. How wonderful to have a sweet Christmas party with family and friends. I'm on my own and would love to have family like this. Treasure these moments.

The plastic flower picks for cards at the grocery stores work really well to hold up little cards and signs like Aunt Penny's "25" and since they are clear, you can hide them well. =) Just passing that along. =)
