This is the realist video I've seen. Clients don't understand the cost, time, patience and sometimes the hair won't let you do what they are going for. Great job!
@@MirellaManelliyou are so professional… when lisa said “ this is a really crusty brush for brushing out bleach” As a stylist… please stop her saying this! Literally so uncomfortable. I love this whole video ❤
33 years of dye..nope. She may have colored her hair for 33 years but none of the hair on her head was 33 years old. Measure the longest strand on her head..if the longest strand is say 18 inches, then the oldest part (the tip ends) is approximately 36 months old or 3 years old, not 33 years. Y’all did a great job with this and kept her hair in the best condition possible. A+ ladies.
One thing that could help you is spreading the bleach lightener on the foil before laying the hair on top of it. Then you apply the bleach on top so you’re actually lightning both top and bottom them at the same time. That said you did a great job and that was a ton of work. It came out beautiful, mushroom blonde. You two work very well together.
Thanks for sharing this video with us, I have been receiving a lot of clients with black box dye hairs of many years and they always want platinum blonde hair, sometimes it's hard to explain to them that it's not easy to do that evenly and with healthy hair at the end in a few sessions, and even though they agree with me at the beginning and understand their hair situation half of the time I see their disappointed faces at the end when they see themselves with dark ash blonde hair or dark blond because their hair couldn't lift further and that affect me too because I start to think that maybe i didn't do a good job (because I'm a newbie as a hairstylist), but this kind of videos remind me that this is the reality with this kind of canvas on hair, sometimes you can achieve the color that your client wants and sometimes you can't do that without breakage
I wish you guys could do my hair. I have long hair and just went to a salon and I let her talk me out of a chop to remove the ends where box dye was and do highlights instead with a different color. You guys seem like you really strived to get it to a beautiful spot and just a well rounded experience over all.
Well ladies I think you did a wonderful job in that that was really encouraging for me I had such a task this week that it will help me out 36:54 with my client comes back. I don't know how long my client had been wearing black but I have gone through the same ordeal I appreciate your enthusiasm, and perseverance.
I also noticed that dishwasher detergent lightens the black from the hair and also that silver shampoo that’s purple that people with gray hair use that also lightens up the black
Beautiful job. Her hair color is absolutely stunning. It would be helpful to know the cost of such an extensive service. I’m guessing it must have been over $2,000.00 for 22+ hours and 2 stylists.
I know you love your Joico but Shades EQ 09V, 09T, 09B would have given that hair the most stunning silver. T and B tones have a gray background so ultra cool without the green cast. All That being said, I love your work and have learned a lot so thank you for sharing! #teammirella :-)
To be fair it’s not actually 33 years of color. Only because that’s not 33 years of hair growth. Even with slow growing hair that’s maybe 6-7 years of hair.
Honestly used to are absolutely amazing together you work so well together and you make me laugh so much you should carry on this team effort and as for the result excellent an educational video loved it thank you so much
I did this to my hair at home slowly a year ago removing the orange gradually in 3 weeks using 20 and Jerome Russell UK bleach It was difficult and I totally admire what you did My hair is slightly dry but in tact and masks have helped of course It's a lovely level 9 and I love it Farewell To black box😅 dye
Woooooow!! You guys are 2 creative moster ladiesssss!!! Thank you so much for this video, looking forward to more of the 2 of you together ❤️ Happy night rests and again, lots of success in your businesses... 🙏❤️🤍🔥🥰✨️
You girls are awesome!!! Thank you for all the great videos! Huge favor can you girls make a video with all the lightners you use and kinda in what situations you use them for. Thank you
I couldn’t really see how it turned out after all of that work. I kept waiting for the money shot at the end and the quick side view with a tiny bit of movement was all we got. Come on ladies!! Flaunt that work at the end for a long time. Realize they plaster thumbnails of other videos over the screen at the end also, so the major reveal/show off/money shot needs to be loooooooooong!!
I think the point of not combing hair with lightener on it is because hair is very elastic and in a fragile state when lightener is on it so combing it could cause damage in otherwise really healthy hair. It’s not a huge thing but why cause any damage if you can avoid it?
So I’m gonna assume the color is 33 yrs strong cause as someone who has hair to hers knees only from not cutting it in the last 5 yrs no way on gods green earth is her length from no cutting and growing for 33 yrs lol
Can i do a bleach-bath on almost grown out silver hair to take out yellowing and brownih pigments from toners? And what ratio would ou do? You are great girls!
Hey I am a hairdresser , I’m very curious if I could do a CPR. Color remover 2 times then 20 vol bleach mixed with shampoo for 20 minutes to slightly lift it before doing the platinum card ? Your clients hair looks pretty thick so I was just curious if that is another option …
What is the reason for doing bleach twice instead of leaving it on longer just one time? I think it’s to preserve the integrity of the hair but seems like bleaching twice would also have the same damaging affect?
23:35 Lol the bleach finder is practically the same as color alarm neutralizing shampoo that's used after rinsing relaxer from hair. It's literally just regular shampoo with a bit of citric acid and an alkaline pH detector. Matrix just decided to rename it and charge more for it.
Omg I've been black box dying my hair for 30 odd years I want this done but I wanna go silver as have grey roots and I'm 58 my hairs long to half way down my back really hope it can be achieved haven't had it cut for over 10 years really anxious bout it any tips would be appreciated thankyou 😢😊
Thank you for weighing your bleach!! If I have to watch one more UA-camr not weigh their bleach while placing themselves in an education role I might cry lol!
I probably would have used a 40 toner you would have skipped all that orange color .I went from a dark purple and added a 40 volume . Perfect color long blonde hàir and it only 45 minutes. Hair is soft and beautiful .
I have an overwhelming amount of bot accounts claiming to be me offering a prize. Do not respond to these!

❤ facts
I’m a hairstylist. I understand this transformation not easy. Take a lot of time & a lot of works. You both did amazing job.
This was reality 😩

I love that you guys didn't stop when it looked decent and strove for gorgeous and everyone being happy with the end results ❤
Decent is enough. At least when you book with me. I want you to walk out of my chair feeling like 10000$
I change up my hair from black to blonde every year. I have done silver and am ready to do the both together. Great job girls!!
The end result was beautiful! I can’t imagine what it cost. Color correction is expensive !
Thank you ❤️ I charge $150 an hour for corrections
So Thai client paid $2,000? You mentioned 22 hours
That's $3000+.
Noway a client would pay that. In 2 days.
I'm guessing the client didn't pay that much as she, the client was on
UA-cam(vid).

I prefer the blonde her hair was at the end of this to silver. It's very pretty.
I commend you guys for not using heat while processing! I think it keeps my clients healthy by not using it.
The amount of honesty just blew me away ❤

Wow!! The end result is phenomenal, especially considering the canvas you started with.

Wow! Looks amazing. Scary, I have a client coming in with same scenario. Black box color, long as hair that wants a level 9 Balayage.
AMAZING Job ladies. You are pros. So talented and knowledgeable.

I’m curious to know how much you guys charged her for this color correction? The results were great.
Turned out very beautiful
Thank you!
It looks gorgeous and she should just keep that shade : )
There’s no way her hair is 33 years long 😂😂😂😂😂
I was thinking the same thing lol! It’s only to her shoulders so like four years or so😂
Agree my hair is to my knees and that’s only from the last 5 yrs
They said she's been dying her hair for 33 years.
33 years of box dye/store bought hair color.
This was very helpful. Looked beautiful
Glad it was helpful!

You guys are totally amazing, perfection and what a way to work !! Great job girlies you are so talented 😍 Suscribed ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for subbing! ❤️
Its not actually 33 years considering the hair has been growing and being trim/cut during those years.
That was a lot of work but great job. Looks great guys
yasssss y’all are amazing!
Thank you
Wonderful job❤️
beautiful video & you guys are so amazing ❤
Omg soo nice to find this video

Thank you for your video this is preparing me for what is coming to me. I am getting rid of 30 years of black box color. I am 56 I am very scared.

awesome.
33 years of color 😆 her hair would be to the floor and out the door.
She said that many years of color not never been cut
looks great~
How much is cause I mean price of breaching madam
What would the price for this be after 2 days of product n work
I think you need to saccharate much more the bleach, toners etc... And you would of had better results.
100%, more bleach, thinner sections, no combing through bleach in hair 😖
AMAZING!!!!
