Dozens of motorbikes thundered in the southern suburbs of Auckland on Wednesday, to bid farewell to slain Notorious Mongrel Mob leader Daniel Eliu.
Daniel Eliu also known as Cap Dan Notorious, was shot to death outside Seventh Day Adventist Church in Auckland, on Saturday 17th of December 2022, he was 46-year-old.
He had been attending a graduation for the Grace Foundation, a Christian-based intensive rehabilitation programme and was seeking to put his criminal pasts behind.
The gathering is called True Stories, he was a regular to this rehab programme and would visit the church every Saturday morning.
Police suggest that the fatal shooting “appeared” to be isolated, and the killing was targeted.

Normally they grow up in an unstable environment lacking a decent father figure. That's all it can take. Some are abuse victims, orphans, child of gang members, foster kids etc... Similar environmental upbringings as the majority of women who turn to prostitution and stripping. It's a situation. Hurt people, hurt people. I dont support gangs but I understand why people are drawn to them. You are a product of you upbringing and environment unfortunately.
