That is what you get when a narcissistic psychopath is imposed on the country as a senate president. We need to blame the judiciary, INEC/Yakubu for imposing these sociopaths. In a sane country, people like Yakubu, Akpabio, Wike and other criminals in leadership will be in jail. It is a sad case for our dear country.
I'm surprised that the UAE has that many women in her parliament. As for how the Nigerian male lawmakers speak derogatorily about women, I'm not surprised. In some places in Nigeria, Madam Ireti is old enough to be Wike's mother. They are "shamemakers" not lawmakers
Tinubu is the cause. He brought into his administration thurgs, heavy weight champion thieves, arrogant past, and present ex governors from various states who have looted public funds meant to develop their nation overseas to destroy the country. What circumstances created these sorts of people?
This Adeola deserves to be in politics too o. Very sound, smart and intelligent. By far better than almost if not all the men in politics who are street boys who got into power by fraud.
Mi lady Adeola, I really missed you at this time of gnashing of teeth in the country, but thank God you are back. I wish you good health and quick recovery IJN.
Anytime I hear about some Nigerian politicians, I have heart palpitations. It is just so sad how we got to this level. SAD. Meanwhile, welcome back Adeola. Thank God for recovery.
I feel so heartbroken listening to the manner in which women are treated by men in power. One can only imagine what it is like for the uncivil woman. Sadly, women face these kinds of people things very often.
I'm first here. Well done, Eji-njo-beans mi. We are glad you're back. We miss you. Thank God you fare better. Nigeria matter no go tire you but for me, I don tire became there seems to be no hope.
Back handed apologies 😮the level of misogyny & patriarchy in the Nigeria system and government is sickening. Well articulated Adeola you are def doing a good job 👏🏽
Jack Ma has maintained that the success of his business is due to the top heavy women's presence in his top management team. He suggests that its not the competitive spirit that has made the internal system of his business successful and progressive, but the collaborative spirit of women, who understand community at a level that leaves men in the dust. The apology was not an apology as it came with an excuse. That's a good example of men that feel intimidated by women who are determined to represent our gender at an incredibly high level. Senator Kingibe is using wisdom to manage herself and her constituents and I applaud the other women in that vile and misogynistic arena who are coming together to try their absolute best for Nigerian women. As always @Adeaolafayehun, you ROCK! Peace out! Udo Di!
Hmmm! She is a night woman. That's why I love the south African parliamentarians. He can't try that in South Africa. I am angry with her for not reacting by downgrading him too. She is a senator and he is a Senator.
I don't think you know how the Senate works. You cannot speak if the Senate President and Clerk allow you to. It is not about silence meaning consent. There are procedures to speak in the Senate. Don't forget Akpabio was famous for OFF THE MIC
Did anyone see the senator Natasha do kneeling courtesy when she even apologized? Our senate President apologized with an "if" . "If" notifies apology. And he also justified his action, another notification. So, to me, he didn't apologize
The best people should contest for whatever position regardless of gender and ability, no one should be discriminated against regardless of gender or ability.
The reasons we don't have more women among our lawmakers, it's because of the money they are selling the tickets before election, it's not affordable, so it's too much for women to buy the forms. INEC should make it easier for everyone to be able to pick the forms.
The mere presence of women in legislatures is no guarantee that women's issues will get priority in public policy. Most of those women, at least in Ghana, simply join the gravy train.
No one misunderstood the old fool. He has no right to belittle his co-senator with such a degrading statement. I wonder how he treats his wife at home. It's time for ladies, both young and old to put themselves out in their constituencies in politics.
Adeola my darling, I keep telling you that you are talking about Nigeria. This type of behavior has become part of our culture 😮. As far as these so called law makers are concerned, a woman's place is in the kitchen not in the parliament. We have no shame and we don't care what goes on in other African countries. Please, nothing surprises me about Nigeria 😢
We need more women Adeola, LIKE YOU!...you are obviously very SMART, and I'm sure you will do very well and you will represent a whole lot of group. Thanks for all you do
I wonder how these guys treat their wives and daughters at home. If the wife or daughter of Akpabio and Wike was address like they addressed Natasha and Kingibe respectively, what will be there reactions? These are not civil in any way.
How can a request for rebuilding a community space that served as a business hub be seen as a faulty prayer??!!! this is the most ludicrous thing I have ever heard. He should have at the very least said that he personally needs to do more research. Why shouldn't the money of the people serve the people?!!! This is a national disgrace. Just say that you do not care about the people of your nation, just tell the truth -- that you are only in office to manage the matters of your account. Red flag and a big giveaway!!!
Welcome back, Adeola. I really missed you. His behavior was very disrespectful and showed a lack of manners. Thank you for highlighting the disparity between women and men in African politics. Sadly, Nigeria has deficiencies in all areas.
It's unfortunate the kind of leaders we have in Nigeria, wike is so such of his life that he is boosting for 2027.. if God be God disgrace will be their portion. I just hope these women will make us proud. Thank you Adeola for always giving us content to encourage us..
Sadly, the disrespect of women is global. In Africa, it's on another level. I commend the women who dare to fight because they will try to undermine you always. People dont get it, that when women are empowered, the family, community, and everyone else will benefit. Excellent delivery/discussion.❤ New subscriber.
I don't actually have problem with the gender of the public office holder neither am I interested in their ethnicity as long as you can do the job. However, I am of the opinion that all genders should be given equal playing ground to contest for position talking about both male and female having same opportunities so if a woman win then it's OK, I don't even mind if all of them are women as long as everyone is duly elected. Secondly, women should also make themselves available so that we can vote for them by contesting because you cannot win unless you contest.
I thought I was angry and embarrassed enough at Senator Akpabio's remarks towards Senator Natasha until I heard Minister Drunkard Wike said to Ms Kingigbe. What a shame!
That is what you get when a narcissistic psychopath is imposed on the country as a senate president.

Even their top officials are women, heading strategic positions
That stupid senate president is a nuisance. I don't know why you are surprised. These are the kind of things you see in Nigeria
Absolutely
I cannot wait until Senator Akpoti will be the next Kogi state governor.
She is an outstanding individual period, she is what Akpabio would never be.
Me I want her to be senate president 😂
We have bunch of thieves in the National Assembly. Absolutely irresponsible elders.
Tinubu is the cause.
He brought into his administration thurgs, heavy weight champion thieves, arrogant past, and present ex governors from various states
who have looted public funds meant to develop their nation overseas to destroy the country.
What circumstances created these sorts of people?
His apology requires an apology.
This is the worse senate president in history of Nigeria, tomorrow he will still commit another broader.
Exactly! That so called apology was an insult in itself
This Adeola deserves to be in politics too o. Very sound, smart and intelligent. By far better than almost if not all the men in politics who are street boys who got into power by fraud.
What a great analysis, Adeola

Thank you for coming back. we miss you

You are absolutely right.
Silence is consent
@@barinezorbenitajohn1510 Sometimes, silence is not consent, it is maturity. Each one gives what he has.
My question is did she even feel insulted? 🤷🏽♀️
Few of our men want you to grow.

Good to have u back Adeola❤
Giant of Africa or did you mean Giant of political criminals?
😂😂😂well said
For Wike, he will learn that man is not God.
The best people should contest for whatever position regardless of gender and ability, no one should be discriminated against regardless of gender or ability.
They can't short us up Lia Lia I love your courage Senator Natacha keep it up., God will keep protecting you against this evil men...
Nigeria honestly shocks me … how has the state not failed completely yet ?

Well done Deola✅
Adeola you are a continental treasure! I look forward to the 1M celebration you deserve it!!

Well done Adeola, Iam so impressed especially as you support your news with the source!!

If you are a Nigerian mother and you always promote male dominance, how will you have women in the NASS?

Welcome back Adeola. You are very good at what you do. More Grace in Jesus name amen
Just look at the characters we call leaders in Nigeria
Bunch of overfeed badly behaved individuals that call themselves politicians.
So sad

Its because she is beautiful and succesful, once you are a beautiful and wealthy lady in Nigeria, they call you asheeeewooo
I can relate but i dont careee

Politics in Naija go along with heavy money and thugs. Women hardly have both or even one of the two here in Naija.
